Great 4th quarter. We fight play defense, ANT was huge on both sides. Finally Finch do some smart job at coaching. Sitting Rudy at crutch time as he was totally dominated by Sengun and sitting Mike who was awful tonight. Hope it boost the team confidence and we can finally make a series. Go Wolves!

Craig Kilborn alluded to that being more of an AROD move. He said he knows KAT's manager or agent or someone and they are really upset with Arod.

The League is mediocre.

OKC and Memphis are good in the West.
Denver and Dallas are good but struggling.

Everyone else is mediocre.

Maybe so. But then by those parameters, the pre-trade roster would be mediocre and in cap hell.

With no KAT trade I think we're right there with Denver and Dallas.
Now if we had salary dumped Gobert instead of extending him and trading KAT, while his value was peak coming off DPOY, and drafted Edey instead of Dillingham......
Cap is OK and suddenly sky is the limit.

I did not see us coming from 16 down there with how dysfunctional we were, but Houston helped us out a lot.

It's too bad Naz missed the finish after fouling out he was a big part of the comeback.

We should get Ant 30 shots a game, but 25 of them have to be good shots.
He's just too damn talented to be struggling this badly this year.

If Jaden continues to shoot this badly I don't know how much longer we can justify playing him so many minutes.
Playing him and Gobert together is basically trying to go 3 on 5.

This entire stretch, for sure. It's easy to zoom in on the three-game loing streak, but following that up with two big wins against Top 4 West teams, and now have won 8 of our last 12

So you are saying Arod forced the KAT trade?
Arod forced his GM to make a lopsided trade that made a NY team substantially better to save money?
Sounds right for his character.

It looks like you guys got to see Good Randle tonight. I think it's all mental -- make him feel happy, and you'll see more of this. But when he's in a bad mood, take cover!

 When you look at it that way, it does make sense.

Ok, I allow the organization to keep Ant and Minott. Everyone has can be traded and any non players can still get fired.

The only difference I saw tonight was that his outside shot was falling at an unusual rate.
Same overdribbling, throwing the ball away, and poor defense we get every night.

He also scored near the end with a drive on the basket so he was playing in the flow of the offense at that time.

It was just speculation that Craig had based on his relationship with the person close to KAT and how they were upset with Arod, he talked about it on The Life Gorgeous featuring Russello.

The Wolves have to find a way to re-sign NAW and Naz. They were a major reason why we won tonight, and they are probably the 4th and 5th best players on the team so far this season.

I'm starting to lose faith in Jaden. I might look to move him if the right deal comes along and I can get off his deal, I am doubting he ever becomes a consistent scorer.

Got a very late start to this game, just finished it on DVR. I don’t now why/how the takeaway from watching a game like that is that the players are the problem. Naz was 6th man of the year last year and I am not sure he scored in the first half? Have you lost faith in Naz? NAW has been one of our best shooters and he went like 1/5 from deep and barely contributed in the first half, is that a red flag? Our systems are designed to force our guys into corner 3s or the occasional tip back. The ball doesn’t move enough, there is little to no off ball movement, guys aren’t going down hill at the rim. This game is yet another example of Finch’s broken offense. The sad truth is we have talented shooters/scorers and we depend on them to do it without playing as team, (especially in the first unit, and especially end of game.) Glad we won, but we badly need to fire Finch and get a real coach. Jaden won’t be consistent until he is put in a position to succeed.

P.S, how many times do people need to turn the ball over throwing low to Rudy for them to learn to pass high/throw it up and let him throw it down.

Do we trust that KAT’s agent might know more than we do for who is responsible for the Towns trade?

“So Jessica Holtz is the agent for Karl Anthony Towns. She also has Devin Booker. She's at CAA, and she was at the game, the KAT coming home. And she was seated a couple of seats over from A-Rod and Mark Lorie and stared at him the whole time and hates them for trading KAT and didn't think KAT would ever, ever get traded.”

I would also point out that if Taylor gets ousted, it falls on Lore and ARod to pay all those lux taxes for the extensions “cheap?” Taylor OK’d that took this year’s payroll plus lux total to nearly $300 million. And this also fits perfectly that when ARod and Lore had to present their plan for the future to the 29 other owners and their lender, when they told them they were going to take the Wolves’ payroll under the lux. They can’t follow their plan if the team keeps Towns on his supermax.
