I wasn’t sure if I wanted to buy into it based on a few good games but it’s been a month of great shooting now I think it’s safe to say he’s back

I think he was working on a hang time on his junper to let people go past and still have the strength to get his shot off.

If Bridges has a big game, the Knicks are tough to beat. His ability to score quickly and effortlessly while involving his teammates makes his game efficient. I think it's important for the Knicks to make Bridges a bigger part of the offense. I've seen games where Josh Hart got more shots than Bridges which is just ridiculous.

OT but as a sometimes rugby fan I love the Haka, even performed in NZ parliament.

The funeral of the All Blacks great Jonah Lomu, where ex teammates do the Haka as his coffin is carried in a stadium, is incredibly touching. Worth a look on YouTube

Mikal last 30 games

20 ppg on 52/40/79 shooting splits

It has been a while since he fixed his jump shot

If OG is out for a while, I think Mikal's scoring output is about to increase

Zero ball handling, inconsistent shooting, can’t get to the basket, can’t draw fouls, weak passing, weak body frame. He’s shown improvement defensively and has been consistent with the mid range but the rest of his game is just so meh

The Cavs got a better player in Deandre Hunter for much less than what we gave up for mikal. It’s crazy man.

I defended Bridges all season long but at this point it gets difficult to find much positive out of this deal. To think what type of deals we could have likely gotten here makes one sad.

Surely you could have gotten Kessler for 2 FRPs in the offseason as a Hartenstein replacement and you would have had enough picks left to get a 3-and D Wing.

i was browsing reddit....it's really unfortunate.....

i guess Leon Rose did not foresee the market becoming such a buyer's market
5 unprotected FRPs....when Warriors got Butler for Wiggins, Dennis Schroeder and one protected FRP

i mean, Knicks could had gotten Butler for a lot less, maybe like 2 unprotected FRPs

Riley would have realistically asked us for a bigger return than what he asked GS for.....but yeah the Mikal trade looks pretty iffy right now....if you give up that price you can't have him as a non-factor in a big game against the Celtics....he plays scared...he hasn't gotten to the line for 4-5 straight games now....

Honestly I think no one could have foreseen Mikal's play taking such a dive...I mean he was putting up 40 point games for Brooklyn regularly and was getting to the line 7 times a game while averaging like 25points....something is going on with him mentally and it is affecting his mechanics, confidence and shot overall....

He only averaged like 25 for 27 games. Last season he came back to earth, he was very inefficient and played no defense. That's the version we got. It's not that shocking to me

The kat trade makes up for it...but ya...Knicks are effectively cap as a 2nd round team for the next several years....

Thats not a bad thing though

Butler makes $48M+. Who would you have sent out to match salaries?
