Kings/Warriors

Post#1 » by sackings916 » Sat Dec 28, 2024 5:21 am

Kings trade:
De’Aaron Fox

Warriors trade:
Jonathan Kuminga
Brandon Podziemski
Andrew Wiggins
GSW 2025 and 2027 1st rd picks

Why for Sac- they retool and get assets for Fox

Why for GSW- they go for it with Curry and Draymonds last few years and get a possible cornerstone in Fox when they leave

I think there’s many other teams who can and will offer better packages for Fox. I don’t think Kuminga is going to be worth the contract he gets this offseason unless it’s something like $18-20 million per year. Podz is good, but those two are the prizes here. The two picks are late ones. The Kings either need a better prospect added or more picks/swaps.

Imo you fire brown to commit to fox. It's the gms job to fix the roster around him first.

That said, gs wouldn't want fox, and there are better packages to be had sending him to SA or Houston.

How do you conclude GS doesn’t want Fox? They sorely need a playmaker and scorer next to Curry.

Curry is per 36min performing career non mvp level. I think he has 2 more yrs b4 drop off.

Fox is not his replacement and I think will age like WB so shorter peak

I don’t know why you want the Kings to sell low on Fox, but this is as low as they can go. GSW gets a young superstar, Kings get a bad contract in Wiggins, a soon to be bad contract in Kuminga, and a far from proven Podz. The picks might come in handy later but this move is sell low and begin a fire sale at the same time. Bad combo IMO. You want to sell high in a fire sale. Try for a 5 picks and some players package like Ainge got for Spider.
