Terry has improved this year. But we can take this a reasonable step further and just ask that he not play again. There is no reason he should be getting even a single minute Matas could be getting.

If we're being generous, his potential upside to us on the court is already set in stone as a defensive specialist minor bench player next year because we made the mistake of picking up his option. But no, we don't need to see him until and unless that's some sort of dire need next year or, gulp, afterwards if we were to strangely invest more in him. Especially not over Matas. Only way we should see him is in the case of multiple injuries. Though I don't really have a preference between him and Phillips.

Dame is back though, so he'll get some confidence back playing against our weakened backcourt. Would have liked to see Ayo work hard on defense against him. Without Giannis, they've still got Lopez to feast on Vucevic anyway.

I'd like to see Sanogo any time Vuc or Smith is out. I think he might be an NBA player for dirt cheap if needed next year.

It’s an observation regarding all games. Terry should not be playing.
