Two things say no for the Bulls. Plus, the people running the Bulls in 2018 aren't in the building any more

This commits to keeping Lavine which almost nobody, including Zach, think is a good idea.
It also doubles the injury risk that sends them to the lottery, if either Lavine or MPJ gets hurt there's not much of anything behind them to prevent a plummet.
They give up on a substantial group of young guys that they as an organization seem to like which is against the accepted notion of moving Lavine
