Still yet great game by him

his hand isnt right yet

His hand is fine, guys just have hot and cold streaks throughout the season. He's shooting 44% from three his last 10 games so a couple of bad shooting nights from three should be expected.

We play Washington today, I have us losing this one on the end of back to back. We play them again in two days, will win that one.

Opponents just can’t guard everybody. Jalen and Towns will be the focus of the other team’s defense, leaving them to decide who to hide their weak defender on. That’s who gets cooked. That’s the plan.

SelbyCobra wrote:It's been said a bunch already in his tenure, but Hart really is a lot like Starks. What I love though is that it isn't a direct comparison between the two and their personalities, primarily because Josh is self-aware that he's playing a John Starks role. Anyone who remembers those 90's Knicks teams well knows that, while Starks was the heart and soul of the team, he was miscast as a #2 and had no guard rails to keep his fiery temper and emotional outbursts under control - he was sort of in new territory and given just enough rope to hang himself at times.

Josh knows Starks, has him as a mentor in the organization, and has an acute understanding of the boundaries of what being the heart and soul of a team means - something that John just didn't have. That role is so much more clearly defined in this day and age, and Hart has refined his own game since coming to NY in pursuit of excelling at it specifically. Hart wearing #3, talking sh*t, playing to the crowd, and doing everything that personifies hustle - and in big spots - while simultaneously knowing when and how to reel it in, calm it down, don't take the shot, make the extra pass, and not feel the burden on his own shoulders, is a beautiful thing.

Since becoming a Knick, Hart's minutes have gone up, but the rate at which he fouls has gone down. The rate of his scoring is not as high as it was earlier in his career, but his asst/TO ratio is the best it's ever been. He's had all 8 of his career triple doubles since becoming a Knick, and he's highly efficient. And he's done it all while diving, shoving, screaming, getting in the opposition's faces, playing to exhaustion, and then finding more to give when it matters most. As someone who grew up loving Starks, watching Hart fill that same space but with more measured control is really satisfying.

I have noticed Hart's shot selection has improved this season

If it were a better team chances would be higher to lose. However Washington is probably the team you would want to play most in this situation.

We absolutely could lose but I am not expecting it. We got more of a nine man rotation too with Shamet back.

mikal is awesome and i'm glad he is a knick

something i wouldn't have posted in the beginning of the season but hey opinions like shooting form change, eh

He's the most graceful player on the team. Each of our guys is so different. JB is herky-jerky and you never know which direction he's going in next. Josh is like a missile that hits the ground and bounces up and takes off again.

I love this description...funny because when I watch this clip I was thinking that Mikal is an assassin with a gentleman's demeanor.

Those quality threads require half day of Contexts time to gather Knicks content for the first post. I bet he’s almost done with the process

With our starting 5, on any given night, any starter can put up 20+ points. Who are you going to guard?

You mean the team that has beaten the Celtics and Heat in the past 3 games and lost the other on a last second shot? Hmm...interesting.

Didn’t think this needed to be explained. The Orlando Magic have the 25th ranked offense in the league including their time with their stars being healthy. At this current moment in time they are playing without their two best players and their best player off the bench. They’ve beaten some respectable teams not by their ability to score which is what my point was. Maybe I should’ve said their offense is terrible but when you talk about a team whose current best player is Jalen Suggs then I don’t think it needed to be explained.

Oh, because your inability to clearly articulate yourself you expect others to read your mind and know what you actually meant?

I didn’t think it needed to be said that a team that had like 12 turnovers in one quarter is horrible offensively so when you brought up shutting down their offense I’m not sure why i would need to specify anything. I wasn’t even trying to undervalue the win but I would’ve emphasized us still winning with the free throw woes, bad game from Kat, and all the mistakes the Knicks made over how we shut down a Jalen Suggs led offense.

Lolol.....

He's being strategic.

This team is coming together. I want to see the final product when Shamet settles in and we have the elite rim protector back in the fold.
