KAT is +201 on the season, Randle is +48 (Reid is +51), this time last year KAT was +169 for the Wolves and they were 23-7.


Randle is a v6 Camaro and KAT is a Porsche GT3 RS.

These numbers are a great example of why us fans that wanted Naz more than kat in a Randle deal, while wrong, are still justified. He is a better player than Randle. Thank you nodope.

RJ is really just a deflection, nobody in this thread wants him back over OG, nor did anyone crash out when he was traded. The KAT trade saw the ultimate implosion of Team Villain and why this thread is here in the first place.

IQ was the centerpiece of the OG trade. We can speculate about RJ's value in the trade but the Knicks likely could've struck a deal without him - but not without Quick.

And Randle helped us a lot more than RJ. It's pretty much indisputable that Randle helped us build this foundation. It's at best questionable that RJ ever did after his sophomore season.

Both IQ and RJ were needed to get the deal done. RJ has actually put up better stats and been more efficient then IQ as a Raptor

22.6ppg, 6.6rpg, 5.1apg, 51%fg, 37%fg, 58.4% TS vs 56% for iq

I mean, his stats are pretty good and he has taken some steps forward.

For a select few, the idea that you can be supportive of a player while they are a Knick without being a total stan and then wish them well in their journeys produces a form of cognitive dissonance that short-circuits their brain.

Any position not painted in strictly black and white terms does not compute. They oppose nuanced outlooks and those phantoms in their minds become the windmills they feel compelled to tilt against. They are battles that don't exist unless they manufacture them.

It was a win-win trade. OG is a better fit for us and he's playing well, and RJ is playing really well for Toronto. Dudes need to move on, but I guess if they could, we wouldn't have this thread for them to seethe in.

This thread didn't exist when RJ was traded for OG, because we're all good with it and realize OG is better. This thread is to drive home the point that KAT is better than Randle, and we won that trade, let's not lose sight of that.


I'll stop posting here when the white flag is waved on Randle, because it should have been weeks ago, just like it was on RJ for OG.

All of the barbs skated. Rj is buns. Boring as hell to watch hoop and a loser. Always has been and always will be. But none of them admitted it.

The best thing hell ever do in his career is be part of the trade that brought us OG.

Nobody crashed out over RJ, team villain literally imploded on itself leaving behind this thread which is the black hole to catch all the whining about KAT in its event horizon. I went full Neil DeGrasse Tyson on this one, my game is robust.

I liked and argued for RJ, then I stopped when we got OG, because he's better. My only concerns with OG were health, outside of that I'm good. So good in fact if you go back, you'll see I wanted RJ traded if it meant Randle was traded after, my disdain for Randle's game is that pure. I got what I wanted, which is KAT, so this is a victory lap and I want the focus on Randle where it belongs. Because Randle is why this thread is here.
