How much does this look like OG at Indiana?

It's hard to tell because he's a little older, but he moves better than OG at the same age. OG could shoot. Thiero's FT% is tanked a bit by one high volume game where he shot poorly from the line, but that outside shot looks questionable. He won't make it to the 2nd round. We'd have to give up something good to get him.

Adou wont be there in the 2nd round. Too many contenders/quasi contenders in the 20's who would love a ready made big forward who can defend (especially after seeing the success Ryan Dunn has had in PHX). He might get taken earlier, but i dont see Dallas passing on him or Boston

He dunks with a good amount of force.

OG shot under 60% FT's both seasons at Indiana. OG's FT shooting good decent by his age 23 season.

I guess OG did shoot 3's well during his freshman season and his shortened sophomore season was just a small sample size.

We'll see at the combine when he has time to just shoot 3's to now end prepping for it. Maybe akin to Jaylen Brown shooting so so at Cal but nailing the Celtics shooting drill.

Carrington and Edey did well last combine if I recall.

Possible easy trade down to Utah, San Antonio, OKC or Brooklyn if they want to move up a few spots. Chance to grab one of those late teens picks to swap positions.

The takes in here are totally fried but it doesn't surprise me the same people are obsessing over losers like Egor Demin and Nolan Traore

If we end up at like 6 and BRK at 10, i could see it. Masai's big board is usually different than the consensus..he might love a guy like Queen who should be available at 10 or Fears.

Jerermiah Fears is the #1 player on my board

Flagg is not a generational prospect and will probably impact game like Nuggets Gordon or Scottie Barnes

Demin isn't a lead ball handler and overrated as hell which conference play will show

Traore is horrendous

Dylan Harper is a one trick pony who will probably be a guy you love during the regular season and hate during the playoffs like Demar Derozan

Ass Bailey is a GG Jackson level prospect but probably worse

I have CMB 3rd right now and with a strong finish to season he could potentially eclipse Flagg but right now he's lower

Jakucionis is likely an NBA SG, his handle is too high and loose and he can't beat guys OTD 1v1 so he relies on stepbacks and fadeaways - overrated because of lack of movement skills for a lead guard

it's a pessimistic take but you not wrong

grabbing ace bailey or cooper or denim wold still help

that said, i would immediately flip them for some young established stars if possible

Very interesting takes. I actually agree with pretty much everything. Fears is a bit shocking to me - I haven't yet seen Fears in anyone's top2. I assume you are still going with Flagg as #2 though right? Could you post your top14? Or at least your tiers?

P.S. I also think Traore isn't a lost cause yet, I hate the fact that he chose to showcase himself in Europe as opposed to going to college. Didn't do himself any favors there. A guy like Ben Saraf would be a star in the NCAA too.

ya ive really come around on Fears and do think he can be a star guard in this league. He might never be lock down, but he's got enough size to not hurt you on defense

ironically, gradey dick is arguably a top 5 sophomore this year
only brandon miller and victor are clearly ahead of him.

the other two i say in competition with gradey right now is keyonte george (putting up nice numbers on a bad team like Gradey)
and Cason Wallace (his numbers are meh, but he's starting on a very stack team)

I genuinely believe if Scoot went to college he'd be on a far better trajectory and live up to the hype.
The ignite program is basically full of talented yet super flawed guys in the league rn

Jakucionis' floor is probably like Donte DiVincenzo with more play-making.

I agree, maybe it's the fatigue but I'm not sooooo enamoured after seeing how last season's prospects turned out.

Memphis has GREAT scouting. Imagine getting Jaylen Wells instead of Mogbo? I think they have to look a psyche more. Jaylen Wells looks too confident while Mogbo looks so timid.

Traore's making money. I guess not shooting well from International 3 range.

I guess Fears could overtake Demin and jump into the top 7 with continued production.

Fears shooting 86.7% FT's is very encouraging at over 6 attempts per game.

He is shooting NBA range 3's like Tre Johnson so 32.6% isn't too bad. What need to learn from last year's draft is who's shooting is for real or not. Sheppard... Is 83% FT shooting not good enough to uphold 50% shooting from 3? :-? I guess he's just too small and would top out like a FVV.

He would have probably made 4-5 times more in the NCAA with a NIL deal than what he's getting in Europe. Demin is getting $2 million for this season and Traore looked way better than him in the Junior Euroleague.

I'd still be elated if we draft Nolan (i.e., if we draft outside of the top 4 - Cooper, Harper, Ace, VJ are locks)

People are salivating over Demin putting up numbers against B-level college competition, yet giving Nolan sh*t for struggling against grown ass men & pro competition.

Yup. Kid is oozing w/ potential. Baylor is guard heavy so he doesn't get nearly enough reps but we saw flashes of his on-ball potential during the summer:

He's also stepped it up in recent weeks and remains the best defender out of the top prospects.
