73 wins and didn't win a championship in the end.

I don't think anyone is saying the Cavs will fall off a cliff, but as good as they are now, there's a big chance that what they're doing now will last all the way up to May.

That's just how the NBA rolls.

Well i think you’re wrong. They’re much better than the Celtics right now. They’re shooting 50 percent as a team right now and making it look so easy. Could the Celtics play better? Absolutely. Hope they start soon. You can’t say these teams cannot beat the celtics in a 7 game series. They can. I still think the Celtics are the best team in the east when they play like it but they have to defend and shoot it better.

No the Knicks would be a hard series for anyone, except maybe CLE.

Doesn't really matter.

Cs will beat both teams if they face each other in the playoffs.

I'll say it. No team can beat the Celtics in a 7 game series. Clip this and we'll revisit it in June. :D

How can I be wrong when teams are just 30 games into the season?

Cavs will most likely end up shooting 48% after 82 games.

Right now they're hot and that means they are peaking in December.

Sure they can beat the Cs in a 7-game series, if the Celtics have multiple players injured.

I don't know how old you are but I've seen this movie over and over again because I've been watching since the 80s.

It's a fact that shooting is up and down over the course of a long season.

Cavs are legit. If you do something for 30 games it’s more than a flash in the pan. Mobley has gotten better and Mitchell is a proven playoff scorer. They also have a big who can challenge Brown and Tatum at the rim.

Fierce 1 has a legit point about teams peaking too early but you don’t really want to rely on your opponent regressing. Would prefer Celtics to have the best net rating, record, offense and defense.

Mitchell played 70+ games two times in his career and they were his first two seasons. I’ll never hope for injuries but his track record of staying healthy is not very good. Atkinson is a good coach but the C’s are the better team.

It's not about relying on the regression of the opponent, it's about the hot shooting.

The tendency is the shooting % always goes down from regular season to playoffs.

If Miami shot the ball like the way they did against Boston in the ECF, in 2023, Miami would have beaten Denver in the finals.

I just have not seen a team shoot 50% from October to June.

That does just not happen in the NBA.

I don't want the Cavs to drop off, I want them to win 70 games. If Boston wins, no more noise about how they didn't beat anybody. If they don't at least the Celtics lost to a historic team and not to a random Caleb Martin heater.

Another player burglarized. Doncic.

Players can't afford topnotch high-tech home security for their homes/families' homes?

They shouldn’t have to, but they probably need to tighten up now. The world is crazy.

Sorry, my post may have sounded like I was victim-blaming/shaming. Not my intent. Anyway, be safe out there. Not just the athletes.

We also had to put grills on top of our gate and install cameras 'cos the store of my cousin in front of our house got burglarized. A lot of desperate people gonna do **** to survive.

If the reports of who may be doing these break-ins are found to be true, they should have never happened in the first place.

Today I learned (from Bobby Marks) the Celtics (any tax team, really) can save on tax payments if their players get suspended. Is this why Mazzulla encourages oncourt fighting?

The NBA memo, a copy of which was obtained by The Associated Press, said the FBI has connected some burglaries to "transnational South American Theft Groups" that "incorporate advanced techniques and technologies, including pre-surveillance, drones, and signal jamming devices."
