Nurkic is not a dude I'd mess with but it's amazing to me how NBA players don't know how to throw a proper punch.

Honestly? It's better this way. I don't think the public or media would be able to handle seeing someone in the NBA really getting their ass beat by someone who has trained. These are large human beings and someone would get seriously hurt

I think back to that time when Marcus Camby came within an inch of killing Danny Ferry. If that had connected

That was a serious haymaker. Didn't it clip Van Gundy? JVG was always in the middle of those scraps.

Yeah Jeff got hit but it was from Camby's shoulder.

I gotta give Jeff his respect. He saved two lives that night because if that had landed, Ferry would have been on the floor and Camby might have ended up in cuffs.

I do remember that Camby didn't react until he realized his eye was bleeding. Then he flipped.

I don't follow Wemby much, but this is really cool. You're not going to the park in the rain to get a game in unless you're genuinely into chess and the fact that he stayed a day after to do it says a lot.

That would be a fun experience, I'd gladly play the kid. I hope he does it again

The Mavs, in an effort to win a championship, deciding that 3 years of Klay Thompson playoff runs at ages 35, 36, and 37 was the missing piece didn't get enough hate.

Since moving Grimes paved the way for us to use Bogie to land Mikal, I'm OK with that, but Grimes is probably the one ex-Knick I continue to hold high hopes for. Wish he had not gone into that horrible slump here, but he's just too good not to prosper if he can conquer the yips he had here.

Yea...him slumping was awful. We also had to give his minutes to DDV, which helped land KAT. Still, I wish he worked out because even if we traded him, we would have gotten a better return. Worst case scenario, he comes off our bench now, which we sorely need. OG, Mikal, Hart and Grimes at the swingmen spot would be lethal.
