How about making that a teaching moment and letting him play through mistakes, rather than “teaching him a lesson”. Bam just let a back cut happen for Nance at the end of the first too.

I'm all for playing the kids as much as possible to see what we have in them. But I understand if Spo yanks after 2nd mistake. You already made one mistake cuz you weren't paying attention. We have a timeout to talk about it. Right after the timeout you foul a 3 pointer because of a late rotation because you weren't paying attention. The 2nd mistake is the kind that drive any coach crazy. Spo ain't built in him to let that slide.

To only be 3 down surprises me, feels like we've been way off the pace

You try to fix them before you can't fix them to make them the best players they can be, keep them chasing the minutes by altering their bad play. Once they get big regular minutes it's sometimes too late, they made it the way they are so why change? It's also why Miami can mold two-ways into better players, most of those guys are willing to do anything they're told to get to have a real NBA contract. From my understanding, Robinson went through a lot of extra specific work in Sioux Falls for Spoelstra, I'm sure the guys who stay around are the ones willing to blindly put in the work that's asked of them.

The special players are usually self-motivated and are always pushing themselves, not everyone has that in them once they've made it in the NBA.

In all seriousness, I don’t want this team making the playoffs this year. Not the way is constructed. Maybe is an overreaction, but unless there is some sort of miracle in some mystical trade, I just don’t see any other way to truly contend.

Watching the NBA for the most part feels like watching high level pickup games.

Dudes can’t guard a soul, they should be disgusted in themselves.

I don’t know his philosophy, but having size seems to be basketball’s 101 philosophy.

Hawks just shooting over us because they're so much longer. We need to get longer athletic guys. Haywood being your only 3 and D wing is criminal and he isn't even that long.
