That's not a rational response. I said he was previously too sick to come into work. But this was on the day of the game he was on the court, at work (so not calling in sick), & in close contact w/ other top athletes. Morning after next he's declaring he'll play.

He would have played if it was a playoff game, so it's discretionary. A regular season tilt vs. the lowly Nets didn't satisfy a cost-benefit analysis from Dame &/or the org. You can agree w/ their decision, or not (it's arguable), but it's what it was.

Nehm was not at the shootaround but was at the post shootaround drills and did not see Giannis.

The backseat speculation and analysis on Dame is some crazy ****. He was sick and now he's playing. Same with Khris and Giannis. AJ Johnson too.

You can also be sick, recover from being sick, not be contagious, feel well enough to come to the game and exchange jerseys with a soccer star, but not be recovered enough to play in AN NBA BASKETBALL GAME!!!

He wasn't able to eat for two days. Probably could have returned to an office job. But not being an elite athlete.

Today he will give it a go and play in tonight's game

Flu season, fresh off holiday gatherings, seems like other teams have been getting each other sick for a couple weeks now also.

Brook is an ironman. Since his back surgery season he's played 78 and 79 games and all 29 so far this season. I realize his lumbering style of play is easier on his body but it's still amazing.

4 weeks in our household. Crazy cough that lasted a month, some kind of flu in the middle and then a more traditional cold.

Finally starting to get over it now. Can’t imagine how these guys would play if they had that but also assume they have access to top tier medicines.

Glad Dame is back. Don't expect much from him in this one plus and he's been pretty ass against Chicago as well.

it is what it is but also why I gave up my season tickets. Dame even at 70% would have been better what we had out there for most of the game. I'm guessing if you asked anyone in the organization if he would've played if a was a playoff game I'm sure it would be a resounding yes. IMHO the bucks were ok playing short handed because at the end of the day they don't care if they drop a game in December.

that's fine from basketball operations standpoint, but Dames getting paid $500k a game and people spent hundreds of dollars watching the Herd lose to a tanking NBA team. the season is too damn long and it really sucks from a fans standpoint.

It has been rough. I’ve had it the last 5 days. Eyes feel like they are popping out of head, skin irritation, headache, fever, shivers, sore throat.
