Damm Bulls allowed 50 points in the 4th vs their 25 scored, lose by 8. How does that happen?

I would not be shocked whatsoever if the recently fired Mike Brown joins Mosley's staff next season. If he wants to jump right back into coaching of course.

It's the same story with them as last season, they have inexplicable cold streaks offensively with awful defense.

Mike Brown got screwed. The Kings were not trying to win with their roster. They didnt try to get any wings/bigs who could guard worth a damn.

It's bewildering because if they didnt think Fox & Sabonis could win or even contend and thus not make any moves to improve their team, then they shouldve traded them when their value was at their highest.

The Derozan addition is still, one of the most bewildering acquisition I can recall a team making in the past couple of years. Their GM needs to go.

I'm fairly convinced Mike Brown was trying to get fired too, and I really dont blame him. Vivek is out of touch.

Sucks because the Kings have been one of my favorite teams to watch in the NBA since Mike Brown took the helm

I’m guessing Rich Paul’s meeting may have touched on this…Fox’s list of demands. :x

Mike Brown went from coach of the year to 3 year extension to fired before halfway through the season that's crazy! Their suck season is more on the GM than it is on him.

Kings roster is a mess. That’s the problem.

We will see another former Magic player become a head coach (Doug Christie).

Curious. What makes us more "attractive" for Brown over other teams?

Nothing necessarily. He just has a working relationship with Mosley and Magic assistant Bret Brielmaier from the Cleveland days.

He could be the associate head coach here like he was in Golden State.

But he could do the same with Michael Malone, Quin Synder, Willie Green or Jordi Fernandez - all of whom are currently NBA head coaches that worked with or under Brown in the past.

So…what teams might (unexpectedly) shift to a tank & selloff?

PHI will likely right the ship & storm into the second round- despite their start
NOLA has to tap soon
IND has to be disappointed, but unlikely to blow it up
Why is TOR down so low and will they just lean in?
I could see CHA selling anyone over 25
Who knows what CHI is doing

Im actually waiting for the firesale of CHI. Question is... who are they building around? Matz and White? Or is there no sacred cows there?

Yeah TOR Is probably gonna switch gears and do a full throttle in their tank. I dunno... if it were me, on paper they have

IQ
Dick
Rj
Scottie
Poetl

Its a good starting 5 but IMO there is no alpha scorer there. No one even on Franz level let alone Paolo.

Kings just lost to the Lakers without Lebron. Firing their coach makes you think they want to win and not sell, but if they keep losing...

Fox and Sabonis are flawed stars and the team is probably not optimally constructed around them (why sign Derozan?), but man what happened to Keegan Murray?

Really interested to see what they do. It's looking grim.

Teardowns stink because they can take forever. We could easily still be in a rebuild with worse luck. So I wouldn't blame them for not wanting to...

That being said Fox has shown some signs of walking as is. They need to pick top 12 and then top 10 to keep their next two picks. They also have Devin Carter coming back soon, who I think very highly of. He just dropped 29 in his G league debut after months of being hurt. Could develop him more if they move Fox.

So really interesting options for them. Because if you trade Fox do you also trade Sabonis?

Smells a little like D12 mess...fire the coach, appease the "star" and then he asks out anyway. I think they'll be desperate to make a splashy trade, specifically for defense...I think Isaac next to Sabonis makes a lot of sense for them and Isaac's deal descends so dramatically that the SAC GM can brag about it...

ORL sends: Isaac, Gary Harris
SAC sends: Monk, Lyles

ORL gets the 6th man flamethrower in Monk and a big body with an expiring deal to get us through this injury-riddled year

SAC gets an instant defensive makeover and financial benefit as well. Harris is a reliable, solid rotation 3&D with an expiring deal. Heady vet presence for the young guys too. He won't take over games, but he rarely makes boneheaded moves on either end.

F**king LAL does it again...quickly nab DFS for seconds and expiring salary. Some orgs demand attempts at progress.
