Bernman wrote:Doc is a horrible coach. I don't want to hear anything about how he's fueling success, when we actually have it.
He sparked a big run for Chicago at the beginning of the 4th by not having any offensive engines on the court. In the 1st half there was a stretch w/ just Bobby. No reason he can't take out Khris/Dame early then bring them back for the other. Last game it was the Delon minutes & icing Ajax. Plus he doesn't challenge when Khris was livid and correct. We went full iso down the stretch.
We need to overcome him as an albatross. We're either going to be able to do it, or we aren't.
Box score means nothing unless your playing fantasy basketball.yannisk wrote:Did not watch the game but looking at the box score Middleton was 8/15 21 points so it does not look bad
on the other hand
Portis 5/17 for 14 points, Brook 22 shots for 22 points, AJJ 1 rebound and 1 assist in 23 minutes.

In the games where he has accepted that fact he has been a positive.
In the games where he thinks he's the same guy he was in 2021 he has sabotaged us.

For example, do they have it mapped out when people are subbing in and maybe written down with times? Obviously Doc could make any in game changes, but I was sitting pretty close the other day and noticed a couple things.
For sure, a couple players just got off the bench and came in without anyone saying anything or any sign that I could see. I'm assuming some vets have their set rotation and know when to come in without needing to be told (Middleton on minutes limit especially)? I wasn't staring at the bench the whole game, but I never saw Doc motion to the bench or get anyone to come in the game. Does anyone know how this works? I guess I just never paid attention to this.
Winning should be the only thing that mattes. Make millions then lose then pat them on the back and tell them good job.Bernman wrote:msiris wrote:Box score means nothing unless your playing fantasy basketball.yannisk wrote:Did not watch the game but looking at the box score Middleton was 8/15 21 points so it does not look bad

So you could shoot 8/15, 4-6 from 3, & have a 2:1 ast/to ratio in an average NBA game?
Obviously it means plenty. It's relative and those things contribute to whether you win or not.

That's a team thing & obviously not having your best player, your 2nd best coming back after a layoff, & almost every role player sucking, plays into a loss in a mid-level difficulty match. Doesn't mean an individual core player sucked. Quite the opposite. Multiple had to play well to even be in position to win at the end. One would be Khris.
Thats why I dont see no chip this year. Injuries will always be this teams excuse like the last 2 or 3 years.Bernman wrote:msiris wrote:Winning should be the only thing that mattes. Make millions then lose then pat them on the back and tell them good job.
