Since moving Grimes paved the way for us to use Bogie to land Mikal, I'm OK with that, but Grimes is probably the one ex-Knick I continue to hold high hopes for. Wish he had not gone into that horrible slump here, but he's just too good not to prosper if he can conquer the yips he had here.

Yea...him slumping was awful. We also had to give his minutes to DDV, which helped land KAT. Still, I wish he worked out because even if we traded him, we would have gotten a better return. Worst case scenario, he comes off our bench now, which we sorely need. OG, Mikal, Hart and Grimes at the swingmen spot would be lethal.

Grimes started playing better after Kidd called him out publicly.

It really is. DFS is a solid player. I'm kinda mad that the cap rules blocked the Knicks from even having a shot at him.

I dont' get the wemby hate other than if you just want to be a hater.

Some folks hate to see anyone shine, especially if they have no glow themselves.

I really don't get the hate at all. Yeah, on the court he's annoying to play against but what else has he done to warrant hate? He's a kid. As far as I know he's just hooping and trying to get better. Jamal Crawford's story about Wemby randomly inviting him to help train him on his ball handle said a lot about how serious this guy is about becoming a great.

I think it was a year or so ago he was sporting a Marine Johannes NY Liberty jersey in support of her. If you've never seen Marine Johannes play, Google her. She's one of the more entertaining players in the women's game. I thought that was really dope for him to do, it made me think he was on some chill sh*t.

And now playing chess with random fans in the park? In the rain? Man...playing chess in the park is something I'd never think a kid his age would be interested in. I miss playing chess outdoors where I grew up at against the old heads.

What's not to like? I hope he loves New York so much that he considers coming here at some point.

The NBA'a officiating sucks but I'm not gonna get mad at Wemby over Adam Silver's dog sh*t product.

The kids are alright.

I just find him refreshing. He is a unique individual on and off the court. I've heard people complain he isn't humble which I think is weird. How many kids have a realistic understanding of themselves. Anyways I fck with him. And root for his health and success. The league is better with him.

I don't understand how they are able to keep making trades.

Other than the Knicks when they are at the top of their game, there isn't a whole lot to watch that is more exciting than LeBron during the 4th quarter of a close game, especially at his age defying all the odds.

I like it too because it's a small group of people yet it's a huge gesture to come out and chill in the community like that.

So now when his games are on TV, you can guarantee some of these people are gonna tune in just because he did this.

It took me a min to get over the decision and also him leaving the heat had to happen. But I really really fcked with his 2nd stint in Cleveland. Him beating that warriors team was some fun hoops to watch.

Plus he just plays the game beautifully and outside of that seems like a good family man which I fck with. Easy guy to root for.

The fact that they turned D'Angelo Russell and a bunch of 2nds for an excellent rotation player/starter caliber player at wing is crazy.

He also gets away with it cause he backs it up on the court.
