Joe makes sense. Queta, Kornet, Hauser, and Walsh as recent enough Maine players also makes sense. DWhite’s appearance also makes sense because he’s the world’s greatest teammate.

D. White also played in the G League, in his Rookie Year on the Spurs.

I watched the second half of this one.

Every time I want to completely bury Scheierman, he does something to make me think, "Ok, maybe don't judge so fast. There might eventually be something there." He dunked, was active and decisive, and had a spectacular behind the back pass in the lane to Skapintsev, who had a nice game himself.

Watson tweaked his groin. Hopefully he's not out for long. He looked good before that.

Davison took fewer shots, spreading the offense around more than usual, which helped.

Peterson didn't shoot well, but played well.

Ward had his usual 4 blocks in 16 minutes. He went 5-5 for 10 points.

The bench players on this team are decent. Many of those guys can play a little bit. Enaruna's coming along.

Lamar Stevens played effectively for Motor City.

I just want to point out that basketball is the only line of work where Neemias Queta could be the third tallest person at his place of employment.

They have Rico playing PG a little which is a good idea IMO.

Luke is such a goof

Several of the Maine Celtics brought the ball up.
Peterson played PG last Season, when JD and DJ were both OUT for a stretch.

For whoever it was earlier that asked about where to buy the LL Bean jersey I'm bumping it... Those are sweet and would look into buying one myself if anyone knows where.

I have a similar reaction to Scheierman. That behind the back pass was spectacular indeed. Generally, he seems to be playing with more confidence. I like that his game is more than just heaving up 3-pointers.

For him it may open up his game a little versus just sitting in the corner waiting for a pass. Initiating the offense, making that pass and cut or to set a screen gets certain players engaged alot more (White's a perfect example of that type of player).
Rico's an athlete who may need to be more involved in the overall offense and not just be a one trick pony. If Sam ever brought the ball up or Anton it's most likely because the PG was trapped and had to get the ball out to avoid the violation. That wouldn't mean Sam brought the ball up that possession as a set play. The ball would go directly back to JD and the offense gets initiated. With Rico, I'm talking about bringing the ball up, initiating the offense and having an effect on the defense with movement after the pass. And yes, I believe Peterson can definitely initiate the offense because he's a good ball handler, can drive and has good basketball instincts.

Great game!
Went to the wire (because of some stupid mistakes by Maine)
112-111 - Maine won

Maine undermanned (8 able bodies). Harper played great. Davison was good

Enaruna, Harper, Ward, Scrubb, Schakel, Skapintsev were all on the Boston Pre-season Squad.
Do they all get the $75K each (after 60-days)?

Is it me or do a couple of these guys (Harper, Davison eg) look like they’ve changed their body a good bit.

The commentators talked about Harper's body. Said he shed about 10-15 lbs which made him more athletic.
