They were around till the early 2000s as a wrestler was wearing them in matches. Kind of died off to most in the late 90s.

Thanks to SGA (and a lesser extent Draymond Green) the Converse Weapon is back. The same shoe Magic/Bird/Dr. J/Mark Aguire/Kevin McHale/Bernard King wore.

Yeah and thanks to converse for lowering the price on some of them like the Birds and Magics and with a 50% off sale you can get them super cheap.

I don’t mean it in a bad way, but they certainly were gimmicky. The pump did nothing, it was a gimmick, but a cool one.

Do you get 1s mids or highs? All I have near me are mids and lows. They never lower the price on them either.

Back in 1992 I played in Jordan 5 (White/Grape). Sole split and were replaced with Black/Metallic. Loved those shoes.

Just found out I could have a low pair for golf :D

The new weapons are nice and comfortable. Like a basketball shoe with regular shoe comfort.

I definitely had plenty of outdoor shoes (as that was mostly the place I ran) and a pair or two of indoor specific shows. I do remember those and had a different version, which were Pump and black/green. They weren't the Dee Brown signature shoe though. I'll have to see if I still have them hiding somewhere.

I grew up Nike Blazers and Cortez. Just great all around and affordable shoes for me with a bunch of different colorways.

The first shoe I saved up money to buy on ebay were these Nike Shox Bomber low:

I finally splurged on my first pair of Jordans recently with the 5 Oreo's

My current go-tos are my 3 different pairs of R4s though
