Cavs/Rockets

Post#1 » by bgrep14 » Mon Dec 30, 2024 12:34 pm

Cavs: Okoro and TT

Rockets: Whitmore and Londale

Cavs: get a taller wing better suited for SF and a backup center. I’m guessing TT could potentially take a buyout and return to Cleveland

Rockets: get out of Londales contract and get defense wing upgrade who hits a high percentage of 3s and doesn’t require the ball.

Landale is expiring and Whitmore has more value on his contract than Okoro does.

Yeah, if Landale was a guarantee multi year deal - then this probably is fair value but not a deal Houston should do.

But he doesn’t, so Houston should pass. I doubt Houston moves on from Cam this early for this return.

value may benefit Cleveland, but they don't need Whitmore as much as they need Okoro imo. And they have to see this as their year. So I wouldn't weaken this team for potential future benefit.

I have Cleveland as a faster no here.

Agree with Chuck. Okoro will get minutes in the playoffs. I'm not sure the other two will. I'd rather attach a bunch of seconds to TT for Sharpe, or just play Thor when Niang is getting abused in a bad matchup.

Jarret Allen isn’t winning you anything. Garland won’t show up in the playoffs. Mobley is a glorified dunk man. Mitchell has some experience but is a liability on defense. To me, the Cavs are a treadmill team.
