Duncan Robinson and Josh Richardson (filler) for KCP
Why for Miami: KCP fits well with Herro.
Why for Orlando: Duncan is a better shooter than KCP. His contribution to the Orlando offense could be greater than KCP's. He also has $9 million guaranteed next season (KCP has a contract for 3 more years)

Re: A Little Florida Trade
I don't hate it, but I feel like the Heat owe a little value here. Also, can the Heat generate enough offense with KCP in the starting lineup.
If the Magic are looking for a Mulligan on the KCP signing, I feel like both the Kings and Hornets should be pretty motivated to get involved in trade talks.

Re: A Little Florida Trade
KCP is represented by Klutch and Orlando trading him only half a season in wouldn’t be good for continuity, future business relationships and optics in general.
Now if it was a trade that was a no brainer which upper management can justify, maybe. However, this ain’t it.

id rather keep KCP, and i dont see Mosley starting Duncan Robinson. I also cant see the FO trading KCP so quickly when we have only seen like 5 games of healthy starters.

Nah...I don't think ORL regrets KCP and I also don't think KCP just forgot how to shoot. He'll be ok. I'd only consider moving him for a much bigger fish than Robinson.

Re: A Little Florida Trade
I don't see the point for Miami. I don't think KCP is a better fit than Robinson. We need the spacing he represents and we've got Highsmith as our defensive stopper. If we had a more dynamic offense, were closer to a ring, and didn't need the contract flexibility that Robinson's deal represents, I might be down for this, but as is we can't afford the next year where he makes $2 million more, or the year after when Robinson is off the books.
This is a no for me.
