Minnesota has run the sixth most isolation sets in the NBA this season but is scoring just 0.77 points per possession on those, which is fourth worst in the league.....

I follow the Vikings and don't get it either. Maybe a trade of Randle for Jefferson would inject some life into Twolves offense?

Probably because MIN had so little talent for years, that if a player was any good at all, they started.

Fun fact, I was at the game that Budinger won for us against the Pacers off a last second pass from Andrei Kirilenko. 8 rows back, mid court opposite the scorers table. Whole stadium was screaming for AK47 to shoot, then held our breath when he passed before erupting when Chase layed it in.

Also fun fact; those tickets were both the best and cheapest ones I got while I was in America. I actually paid more for Lakers tickets in the nose bleeds when Kobe, Dwight and Nash sat out against the Spurs without Duncan or Ginobili.

With one game remaining before the New Year, Jaden McDaniels has attempted 56 corner 3-pointers, most on the team and tied for 19th most in the NBA at this point. He has made 16 of them (28.6%). Only Keon Johnson in Brooklyn has attempted over 50 corner 3-pointers and made a lower percentage than McDaniels.

This is the biggest thing that can give the starting lineup a jolt.

Or, maybe this tells you that Jaden shouldn’t be parked in the corners and asked to shoot (often cold and outside of the flow of the offense the last few possessions,) corner 3s. Mike is the first one out, and DDV is the next man up. Unless you missed the thing about DDV playing 71 minutes in the last 2 games.

Or it tells you he’s slumping.

Jaden is a career 37% shooter from the corners (never had a season below 36%). And a full half of his career 3 point attempts are from the corners.

3rd quarters mean starters playing together which usually doesn’t end well. It also is the opposite of how we were last season and speaks to motivation issues.

The Wolves have the second most wins against .500 or better teams in the league (15-9) and the 4th best winning percentage. They are behind OKC in wins and OKC/Boston/Cleveland in winning percentage against teams above .500. In addition, we have played the most games and the highest percentage of our schedule in the NBA thus far against teams above .500 (24 games out of our 35 games played). In addition, teams in front of us like the Rockets and Memphis have only played 20 and 16 games against teams above .500 respectively. Teams like Boston and Cleveland have only played 14 and 16 games.
