Not to mention that Kispert had a terrific outing last night, posting 19 points on only 12 shots. Odd time to pick for a critique of his ability to shoot.

Over the last two seasons Kispert played in 154 games shooting roughly 40% on 3s, 64% on 2s. Being an effective off ball player with a reasonable contract I think he is pretty easy to trade.

On a good team he would likely get more open looks than he gets here. Obviously defense is a legit concern but let's not pretend his shooting this season has been the norm.

I'm not worried about Kispert I was mostly being funny. PIF is right that at this point WYSIWYG with him. He's a guy that can hit open shots and not much else. But shooting is valuable and a lot of teams would be willing to trade for him, I think.

This is the problem, particularly when the new #24 pick rookie looks already a much better player than Kispert.

I like George but that doesn't mean I am going to revise history with Kispert.

The rest of what you write isn't true, however. There's no question he can shoot a high %. Last year, Kispert's TS% was 60.2%. The year before it was 63.7%.

Those numbers qualify him as "a sharpshooter." One who's in a slump, however -- no question about it.

As to your having it in for other posters on the board... I don't get why. I think we're all excited about the rookies & Bilal.

What I stated that elicited this response is the only thing I'd walk back at the moment in; I'll wait to see if the same grace is given to them as Kispert if the rookie mistakes start to mount, I hold to all else stated.

Kispert is a good 3pt. shooter, not an elite one. The title of 'sharpshooter' is reserved for elite 3pt. shooters IMO.

We'll see where his numbers stand in 3-4 seasons...I surmise they'll reflect that he's a good 3pt. shooter and nothing more.

Kispert's TS is up to 56.6% on the season, not bad after that awful slump. There was one stretch where he was 1-16 from 3 which was obviously an anomaly.

His ability to score effectively off ball should be attractive to teams that already have a first option scorer. I wouldn't be surprised if he is traded in a draft day deal similar to Deni.

Maybe analytics would disagree but as much as I like and am hopeful about Kyshawn, if he continues
tp shoot this badly, Kispert is the better player. That said, except when he's shooting, Kyshawn has a
more attractive vibe about him. If and when his shot comes around, he will probably be a better player
than CK. It's still early days.

Awful year for “The Sniper”. A strong case can be made that he is the worst defender in the league (eye test or analytics). His shooting is average at best. He makes one free throw per game.

Hopefully just a new contract hangover, but has not shown thus far should be part of the rebuild and playing too bad to find a trade partner.

More than 8 months since the last activity in this thread.

Should Corey go?

ASAP?

What can we hope to get for him?
