Fck val and Stewart. Get a wing in here so og can rest

Last thing we need is another C that can't shoot for sht. Precious shoots 36% from 3 and Stewart shoots like 25% from 3. Not understanding this obsession with Stewart when he doesn't even start for the trash Pistons. The guy got benched for Tobias Harris of all players.

See idc about all that - what I care about is OG being brittle and on borrowed time playing for a coach who is a fcking lunatic. We desperately need someone thibs likes to spell OG.

This is a championship caliber team with a healthy og not with Stewart replacing precious mins.

But no way is precious better the Beef Stew.

What kind of package gets him?

Probably a 3 team trade. Mitch somewhere...asset to Det...Stewart to us.

Mitch at his best is better than Beef Stew but the question does the FO trust him to ever be healthy? Maybe take the more versatile healthy option.

Then maybe trade Precious for Valanciunus who is more a pure 5 than Precious is....

Small sample size alert. Want to do there entire careers for 3 pt shooting? Stewart also has taken a lot more and shoots over 34% for career. Shot 38% last year on solid volum. Precious volume is like 4 makes this year and only attempts them from corner. While Stewart takes above the break 3s.

We aren't getting a starter for whatever we are trading we are looking for a backup. That could be Mitch but his health is a big question mark.

This is a move on the margins to maybe get us a healthier big we don't need another starter. Are starting 5 is set. It's just fortifying the bench that we should be interested in doing.

I'm not sure what type of OG level replacement you think we can get for a protected wiz pick likely turning into 2nds...and Mitchs contract.

I actually showed how good Stewart is at guarding Giannis because in theory if OG is hurt...who is guarding Giannis on the Knicks. So he's not a true wing but he has versatility not just a big.

Yeah I think we need a wing more than anything too. Not sure why we have people calling for Stewart like we need him deperately.

He's the missing piece if healthy, and there's nobody on the market outside of Kessler who can approximate what he'd give us.

and ill tell you what...do we know if Kessler can guard Embiid?

Right , actually he can't...but he does have some more offensive moves and is younger (than Mitch) to balance things out. And actually he's no longer even on the market.

We should trade for Kessler. Best 3pt shooter in the league right now at 66.7%

He's another guy we could throw on Giannis or Embiid and be physical against them. He very strong even though he isn't overly tall has really long wingspan to make up for it.

You sold me....

3 team deal for Stewart (15M) with Mitch (14.3M) and something else going out

Precious + Sims + a couple 2nd round picks for Valanciunus

I know how hard it is to remember for people struggling with object impermanence but Mitch takes over games with his defense and rebounding. Yes, his injury history is an issue...and FT shooting a bit yet when he plays his impact is greater than Precious and Stewart.

I know it's because he gets hurt so often people can't remember what he actually can do on the court so I don't blame you for your ignorance.

Mitch for Stew...ok, but keep Precious because he can play the 4 and give OG a breather, use TJ Warren as a big wing forward if the Knicks want to add there.

Stewart has been ass this year and got benched. I don't really get the obsession with him when Precious has been doing a great job for us and is more versatile on offense than Stewart. We barely have assets, so why we would waste whatever little we have on a center who's not even an upgrade for us. Makes much more sense to use our assets on a backup wing and keep precious as our backup big. We also have Mitch.

+1000. He is a perfect fit for a Thibs defense.

Agreed. The idea of Mitch is great. But the FO also has to be concerned can he ever get on the floor for an extended period of time. Those are legit questions because Mitch is just an idea at this point. He just isn't available to play and even when he is home long can he go before another injury?

And yes precious should stay and still maintain minutes. He plays a solid role here.

Mitch was legitimately a DPOY level candidate before he went down last year. His effect on a Thibs D can not be understated. That said he has trouble staying healthy. But he is still young so I would not entirely give up on him either. My ideal would be to get a cheaper salary player that wont cost Mitch in a trade like Kessler or Richards maybe even Valanciunus. Stewart at 15, Poetl at 19 would definitely require Mitch going back. Valanciunas would likely cost Precious and some filler.

Kessler would cost way more in the matter of 1st rounders we don't have, but yeah I agree.

I mean the whole league can't guard Giannis. I think we are **** big time regardless of OG gets hurt. There just aren't wings in the league that can replicate what he does. He is that valuable. Anyone we try to get would only have maybe one quality of OG but not the whole package. Otherwise they wouldn't be available.

People said to draft Ryan Dunn because he was similar length and wingspan and defensive potential. But dude can't shoot otherwise he would have went a lot higher.

He is better but keep both we could use the depth. I'm talking about moving the Mitch contract if the team is worried about keeping Mitch healthy long term.

Precious in his role is i fine but he has limitations on guarding bigs with size. He's very good in terms of switching onto more perimeter guys though.
