You're the one that literally said Stewart is way better than Precious

Where does Stewart get mins if were still running with kat at and precious. Our offense takes a hit if were running either of those guys with kat or together.

Where the hell is boris diaw when you need him.

Just a reminder, James Edward who covers the Knicks and covered the Pistons for years said in order to get Stewart we would have to give up Mitch, Deuce and a 1st round pick. So.. yeah i'll stick with Precious and run wait for Mitch.

Idk and thats why this makes zero sense to me  and the price for stewart is deuce + mitch and a 1st round pick. Don't know why anyone would think that's worth it

Same can be said where does precious play with Mitch? If anything Stewart is the one guy that can at least stretch the defense more than precious and Mitch.

Ok I saw you post about the reporter. If that's true then no I'm clearly not trading deuce in the deal. I doubt it would cost that much though.

The issue with Precious is he can get outrebounded by bigger centers because they can get up over him so him as center with another smaller PF isn't going to be ideal.

Exactly that's why I'm cool with moving Mitch for a wing. We don't need him. Precious and Kat are fine at C. Go get Boris Diaw if he is still in the L or his clone.

I think we all agree with that.

Good thing though since precious is better than Beef Stew can't wait to see our haul we can get for precious. You think we can get 2 1st round picks?

I think he would fit right in with the toughness and a local kid.

He has also has some offensive skills. Has made 3's before and decent FT shooter.

Think he is the type of ideal fit if the Knicks don't trust Mitchs health.

That's probably the better move

I'm listening. I forgot all about him. I love what Mitch brings but, health is a big risk.

I know it's because he gets hurt so often people can't remember what he actually can do on the court so I don't blame you for your ignorance.

Mitch for Stew...ok, but keep Precious because he can play the 4 and give OG a breather, use TJ Warren as a big wing forward if the Knicks want to add there.

Agreed. The idea of Mitch is great. But the FO also has to be concerned can he ever get on the floor for an extended period of time. Those are legit questions because Mitch is just an idea at this point. He just isn't available to play and even when he is home long can he go before another injury?

And yes precious should stay and still maintain minutes. He plays a solid role here.

Precious as center without another bigger rebounding PF has been exposed sometimes. He defends bigger centers pretty good and is switchable on the perimeter that's why I say keep him but rebounding he's had some problems against 7 footers.

Rather trade for some 3 and d wings like KCP, Keon Ellis, Haywood highsmith, NAW etc.

I'm not anti Stewart or pro precious. I think they're pretty similar players with a lil differences. I'd just rather focus more on a wing than a C/pf type for already said reasons.

Yeah problem with that most rebounding 4 man can't shoot either. And the offense wouldn't be good with two non shooters.

It would not take that much to get him.

They just aren't out there man. DFS was one of them and he was recently traded. He would have been a solid option.

Precious has more defensive versatility, Stewart is really just a small C that can guard the 5 and 5 alone. They don't play him and Duren together anymore because he can't guard quick 4s, whereas I feel like in a series against the Magic you could put Precious on the floor and have him guard Paolo, or go get him on Giannis against the Bucks and he'll hold his own on a switch against Lillard.

I think the differences between them are pretty big, Precious is much better cross matching and getting caught on an island against guards and he can defend physical wings and 4s as well because he has more foot speed.

I'd keep Precious over Mitch, ideally the trade to make would be Mitch for Cody Martin and Nick.

It would be nice to see if dadiet could steal a couple mins. But he might be too young. He has size and showed some defense when he plays and can hit a 3 to give OG some rest.

But thibs ain't running him this year.
