Happy New Year Celtics pals we won the super mega big game hooray!

The Celtics defense was much better today (Raps had 53 pts after 3 and 71 for the game), Jayson Tatum overcame a slow start to lead the C's in scoring, Payton and Derrick were active and en fuego, Jrue was huge in his return game, Jaylen did Jaylen stuff, Sam was back in robot mode from 3, Walsh and the garbage-time guys killed it, and the C's put up 45pts in the 3rd and rolled to a 54 pt win!

I was worried we'd drop the ball but fortunately Ryan Seacrest still has to do that later tonight. (I'm so old I almost said Dick Clark lol.)

Tough week coming up: MIN, HOU, OKC, DEN. Let's do this, champs!

Really liked what I saw from Walsh, hopefully he keeps developing, there's a really good player in there.

We didn’t score enough, shooting was a little off, but constable held them under 80!! Winner winner, Dino dinner!!

Now this is the way to end 2024..

Meanwhile I will still assert with even more conviction that "Jordan" Walsh and Peterson are potentially too good NOT to play much more. And I don't mean garbage time.

I had to leave right after Jrue's halftime buzzer beater, and when I came back we were up by 2 million. WTH.

Yeah. I think the Kid's good. I see him coming in off the Bench for the Jays, in the future.

For those wondering why I didn't put Jaylen Brown instead, he missed one of the 50-pt win games. Al Horford missed two.

EDIT: BTW, factoid basically saying Tatum leads all players in NBA history in 50-pt wins.
