Poeltl for some combination of Vincent/Rui/Vando that the Lakers dont want (can also expand to be Poeltl+Bruce Brown for all 3 if desired)
The compensation would be at least a 1st and possibly a swap if all 3 contracts are coming back to the Raps
For Lakers: Solve one of their biggest weaknesses. Poeltl doesnt have range, but he's very mobile and a good passer who would fit well with AD. Also provides great AD insurance should he go down for a slew of games
For Raptors: This is a rebuild. Sell off vets and get future picks to rebuild the team

The Lakers shouldn't want Poeltl, he hurts them by moving AD to the 4.

They were looking for Kesslar, no? Poeltl is better right now and this helps them offload other longterm money they have tied up thats not playing (Vando)

They shouldn't be trying to trade for him either.
