Is it too much to ask for guards who can dribble, pass and shoot at an NBA level?

Cade just gave Suggs/the Magic some bulletin board material for the 2nd half, clapping a whole defensive possession is obnoxious

I’m sure they’ll engineer a furious comeback and make me eat these words, but I can’t watch any more of this. It’s awful. They look like a team missing half its scoring. But I can’t understand why their defense is so bad.

Caleb plays 5 solid minutes and he is now a rotational player?

Jett is down. Not debating that.

I didn't say Houstan was a rotation player, just that he'd overtake the minutes Jett was getting doing this stint while we're injured. My vision for him long term on this team isn't that great right now and the minutes he's given us has been disappointing. The guy just stands around on offense and his defense is below average.

I know Paolo and Franz are out, but if someone wanted to point out a game that indicated why the Magic needed a point guard this would be the game.

They look like a team missing several of their best players.

Kind of like the Nets game in that the Pistons also look bad, but all of their shots are falling so it's offsetting that. We have 5 more field goals and 6 more free throws but they are 67% on 3s.

Not expecting a magical comeback in this one though, Pistons aren't trying to lose.

Detroit is playing great defense... on top of the fact that we have very little offense to begin with. They're pressing the hell out of us and playing physical ball.

He didnt say anything, he just spent the whole last possession of the 1st half clapping loudly on defense for 10 seconds as Suggs tried to 1 on 1 Isaiah Stewart

He's had opportunities and has played lackadaisical with those moments. Disappointing he couldn't of showed us something.

sure but this offense is offensive... he's worth a look at the moment

I sorry but Houston has shown more in the last two games than Jett has shown the whole season.

If we didn't have Paolo and Franz we'd be a lottery team. I'm shocked.

Since this ain't working I'd send Suggs to SG and let TDS take over the play making like he did against the Nets and see what happens.

Good news. We have won 3 of 4 games just like this.

Return to Orlando Magic
