What are your thoughts on Judgement Day's new theme? I like it, fits their new look of being more of a street gang from being a goth group. A bit too late though unless they're pushing the group or Finn.

I also agree with some takes that the theme fits the new vibe of Kofi and Xavier

From what I've seen of the network on Netflix. Trash

None of the stone cold podcasts, the story times, the 24's or any other original programming? Who gives a crap about Monday night Raw from 1993? All those original programs were far and away the best programming they did in my opinion and there's literally none of it on there. I hope that changes as the months go on but information is scarse thus far.

I think Jey Uso could win the title tonight. Goldberg costs Gunther, sets up a match at Mania between them.

Thankfully that didn't happen.

I didn't want that to happen. I just thought it was logical because of the Goldberg/Gunther interaction late last year.

You can run KO/Sami 1000 times, and it will be excellent all of those times.

Cena turns heel, should be a good lead up to WM

Not when he only shows up less than 10 ten times a year. I wanted this heel turn in 2011 during CM Punk’s leaving the WWE storyline. IIRC, he was starting to get mixed reaction around 2007-10, ending CM Punk in his own city would have put him over the top (McMahon was signaling for the screw job too). But not now, crowd doesn’t even want to boo. :noway: :noway:

Better late than never. Crowds are different though. They’re gonna want to cheer a heel Cena. Would like to see the dr of thuganomic’s gimmick back. I don’t care how outdated it is.

I am intrigued. Hope they have a good payoff- Him going through Wrestlemania as a heel, losing, and turning face to have a last one with the Rock- last PPV of the year....that sounds ideal.

Maybe thats why Travis Scott was out there.

He was completely out of place there. I could see the entrance music, but he was involved in the whole angle.

My comment after the Royal Rumble

Stannis wrote:I know Cena will never go heel, especially in the last stage of his career. But... if he's going to win the EC, I feel they have to change up his character.

If he lost the RR, what's the point of having him win the EC with his tired old ways?

I was half right lol. I thought they were going to have him revert to "Thugonomics" Cena where he can cheat to win, but still be a face with the crowd.

I knew they weren't going to go try and rebuild him as an All-American guy. There's just no time for that. And kayfabe-wise, it's unrealistic for him to just come back from Hollywood and honorably beat guys in their prime.

It will be interesting to see where this goes. I think they made a mistake trying to make Cena a full blown heel in the short time left in his career. But maybe it works out? I thought it would have been better to have him just go back to the Doctor of Thugonomics, maybe have his own click/faction, and let the crowd make whatever they want of him.

Also, I feel this is happening a tad too late. At this point, Cody is going a little stale, so it's probably welcomed for him to lose the title.

its the handover from Cena to Cody as the "face" of the company
and maybe cena becomes an authority figure after his retirement

I don't follow wrestling as much.

How long do you think Rhodes can keep up as a face?

I thought at one point, Cena would stay face, and Rhodes would turn heel in the process
