We lost to the Nets at home last week, choking away a 4th quarter lead. Dame and Giannis did not play in that game.

Nets will be on a B2B, they play in Toronto Wednesday night.

No excuses, can't lose this one.

Go Bucks.

Giannis joked about the back spasm excuse, "is that what they put down?"

So yes, they were load managing Giannis &/or Dame after the Cup, in those easier games on paper. Reiterated his primary goal is to be healthy for the playoffs. I guess his adjustment is to go hard when he actually does play.

For Dame, I think coasting for periods, & doing things like not getting back on d, until the occasion is bigger, is just who he is. He has a very relaxed mentality. Got to live w/ it I guess & not lose perspective it should change "when it counts". Still frustrating.

Cam Johnson isn't playing tonight but will probably play in this one.

ETA Cam Thomas, not Johnson.

Making that trade makes them MORE dangerous this time, not less. They added Bucks' killer D'Angelo Russell.

Also, Cam Thomas is back, but didn't play tonight. I think that's what Mickey meant. Cam Johnson played.

They still got some firepower & a style which gives us trouble. I always thought it was odd they had such a low projection in the books - 19.5 wins - given they had some quality on the roster. They're well over halfway there. Now they're actively trying to lose because they were too respectable to start the season. They still can't shed enough win now talent.

If the Bucks don't come motivated for revenge in this one, it could well be close again. We have some more horses this time to very likely come thru it. But ya never know. Might want to dust Pat off to bring the ball up at times.

Yeah. Cam Thomas. Reportedly will play Thursday night. He returned Sunday night after missing a month and looked pretty good.

Meanwhile Toronto, on an 11 game losing streak, whipped the Nets tonight.

Would be nice to bring back Bud basketball and stomp the crappy teams early so the good players play under 30mpg.

we are just too old for that over the course of 82. look at the teams that have the big point differentials. The only team you could really call old is Boston and that's only in comparison to the youngest of teams. Their two main guys are 26 and 28.

we are a playoff team, we just need to guide the ship there and make it in one piece.

I think we win, but teaser that made it Nets +21. I think we win by 16. Then Celtics +2.5 and OKC -2.5. I'm on a heater so you can follow me for free money.

On the actual side of things, we really need to use these games to roll the other teams so we can get AJAX, Dairy Bird, Rollins serious game time so they're ready for the playoffs. The three of them show some amazing flashes, but they make some absolutely idiotic decisions in games.

Official injury report is Giannis/Midds Probably; Green Questionable.
Wouldn't be shocked if they rested someone considering the schedule coming up. (16 games in January - including Spursx3, Magicx2, knicks, Sixers, Heat, Clippers - 3x national tv, 8 Home)

I WOULD be shocked if anyone is rested. We finally have the whole team available and played one great half against Indy. Need to keep it going. We don't have a B2B until the 14/15.
