Around the NBA - 2024-25 Season Continued

Post#1 » by Capn'O » Thu Jan 2, 2025 6:56 pm

Continue here. Still so far so good.

In recent years, the Around thread had been a dumping ground for ex-Knick related arguments. But we now have fight thread! So the idea is that the Around thread goes back to being a thread where we discuss other games and events happening beyond Knick related content. SGA killing it? Perfect thread to discuss. Curry's decline ( ) or LeBron's ( :D ). Talk about it here. Does the modern game suck? Are people who say so full of ****? Talk about it. Hell, you can even talk international ball here. We're not too picky.

With regards to game play ex-Knick discussion is fine here with some banter. But the battles over whether we should have kept those dorks or done the trade go to fight thread.

Since the inception of Fight Thread this transition has been happening organically, which I appreciate. Thank you. May the Around thread return to its robust roots as a bastion of basketball appreciation in all its glory.

The announcement on Wiretap say may not return this year. It's a bad injury, so he'll take time to heal. Wish him all the best. The Magic are an increasingly dangerous team.

Anybody know what % of games he's missed in the last 3 years? Seems he's always got something.

Jimmy is an ass hole for that, but Riley seems to always burn bridges with his top players once that time comes. I don't see why he wouldn't look to send Jimmy to a contender offering assets.
