The most disappointing thing imo in this whole saga is that you have two men, apparently sidestepping each other like some hoes, running to Shams to do dirty work instead of getting into a room and just hashing it out. Hey I had a problem that you said this….well I had a problem that you did this, and move on. Ridiculous

Was never as emotionally invested in Jimmy as I was with other Heat mainstays like Timmy/Zo, Wade, UD, etc. Jimmy always felt like the crazy stripper fling that was bound to crash and burn. The only surprise is that it lasted as long as it did.

Is it because of his half assing it in the regular season because no way you didn’t feel some type of way on those playoffs runs lol

I stand corrected, Jimmys been acting like a hoe this season so big dog checked him

Like I said, the Heat just continue the youth movement. Play the young guys to build the team around Bam and Butler. The Heat has given Butler the priviledge to leave this summer. The Heat can make the playoffs without Butler. And by doing so will replenish the Heat draft collateral. If Butler is that emotional about his contract next season, then a going away gift would be to pay him and he doesnt have to play like Memphis did Iggy

Of course I was super into it during the playoff runs but it didn't change the fact that it didn't feel the same as it did with Timmy/Zo or DWade. It was fun but it wasn't the same kind of pain when we ultimately lost.

It was obvious Jimmy would act this way if he didn’t get the contract he wanted/thinks he’s deserved. I personally wouldn’t give him that new contract either but the way the front office handled this entire thing has been all wrong and was obviously going to lead to a public blow-up.

We need to trade Jimmy and then somebody, or several people, need to fall on the sword in the front office for the fallout of this saga and the failed past few summers. I agree with others that Pat has definitely lost his fastball.

Accountability starts at the top. If you're not holding the front office accountable, you have no chance to hold players accountable. Someone major needs to fall on the sword.

I wouldn't say that but he's at the end of his rookie contract and he wants paid also. Get someone with multiple years left on their rookie contract, some draft assets and expiring's and make a splash in FA 2 summers from now.

We should have traded him before the season. Especially knowing that we were going to hand the offense over to Tyler full-time.

I don’t know what we can get at this point, but we need at least 1 or 2 picks. If we don’t start building assets, we are cooked.

They’re not moving Kuminga for Jimmy. I don’t think GSW wants to pay him. Imagine maxing Jimmy out while letting Klay walk. GSW was a figment of the Butler camp.

Atleast now we have all NBA teams in. Not just those few teams

They thought culture would win out. Riley overplayed his hand

"An issue that led to Butler's decision was an implication from team officials Thursday that he hadn't played his hardest in the Heat's victory Wednesday over the New Orleans Pelicans". Oh please, the excuses just keep changing. Get New Orleans, Washington, Utah on the line and see what they're talking about.
