You're welcome. I got too hyped for them returning for S2 that I wasn't too objective right after seeing it. S1 is still better but S2 is still a fun watch. I can't get enough of the sisters.

I just got through my re=watch of Severance in readiness for the S2 drop in a couple of weeks. Can't believe they took 2 1/2 years to get this back. Let's go already!

I think I remember there being some Cunk fans here when Cunk On Earth came out a while back. I haven't watched it yet but just saw there's a new one called Cunk On Life. Satire doc thing on Netflix, pretty funny.

Love her. Hilarious woman. First recognized her in Ricky Gervais' After Life (personal fave series from Netflix).

Cunk is a good way to pass the time. Can even play it on the background.

Yeah, Cunk is awesome. There's a lot of Cunk stuff on YouTube predating Cunk on Earth.

I got a random email from LG Electronics telling me to preorder the world's first transparent 4K OLED TV. I'm like hey cool I've been wanting a new TV.

It's $60,000.

I was told by many that Ben Stiller's project Severance on apple TV was great, but honestly I am blown away how good it is, and I had high expectations for it

An astonishing cast led by the marvellous Adam Scott and such tense, tight plotting.

Hope it cleans up at the Emmy's.

About that last one, a viewer wrote on Letterboxd, "The kind of film that turns up out of nowhere and completely affirms every positive belief I've ever held about cinema." Spot on.

First-class acting and directing (both movies).

Have you watched the show Lupin? It’s one of my favorite foreign TV series and French.

The young beautiful actress from the Swimming Pool is in it. She and the director of the Swimming Pool made another movie together called 8 Women which I remember liking a lot. It’s kind of like Knives Out or Clue where everyone in a house is a murder suspect. Neither is great IMO but we’re critically acclaimed at the time.

I've just finished watching "8 Women." The star power is off the charts. Ensemble casts usually result in so-so movies, but here each actress is brilliant and the movie is a fun watch. Isabelle Huppert won most of the awards for this one, but to me Fanny Ardant and the older lady steal the show.

If you remove the musical portions (except the Françoise Hardy cover), then this movie would be a classic.

Your Knives Out/Clue comment was spot on.

In the middle of The Morning Show. I'm not catching everything but most every series I watch on Apple+ is just straight fire. Finally got through Presumed Innocent before. That was also excellent. Looking forward to the season finale of Silo tomorrow and finally the return of Severance.

I’m a little conflicted on season two of Silo. I really like this show, but I also found this season a little slow progressing the story line. The season finale was a doozy though.

That's what made it great though. As a social studies teacher who teaches US History, I like when they get things as right as they can historically.

The Head on Max is so stupid it's actually kinda fun. It's nominally about scientific exploration but it's called The Head because every season a different character becomes a psychopath and starts chopping people's heads off lol.

I thought you mentioned that a while back. If you haven't yet already seen it, "1883" was equally great by Taylor Sheridan who also did "Hell or High Water" which is really good.

Yeah I had to re-watch as well. It’s a bit alarming how poor my recollection has become…
