Some crazy dudes who cut of their ears turn out to be Van Gogh I suppose, we'll see where this one goes.

Saying we fired the coach and traded Jrue after winning the Championship, when it actually happened after 2 years of not winning the Championship is some wild forced perspective.

So you're saying we did indeed trade/fire them after winning a championship like I said, got it.

I’d say 10% chance Dame dealt at the deadline. 75% in the offseason.

Under your wild logic, everyone the Bucks fired for the last 53 years has been after winning the Championship.

Probably not considering we're discussing things Giannis has led to happening or will happen in the future but do you.

If they make the ECF I don't think he's going anywhere. As much as we want to improve the team through trades I don't see much if anything happening before the deadline. They aren't going to do Brook dirty by trading him. Bobby is a fan favorite and he's playable in 2-3 games out of a 7 game series which is probably good enough for the FO. It's also incredibly difficult to trade as a 2nd apron team.

Or the blinders you where are wild. I guess it depends on who's perspective it is. One thing that is fact though is that the Bucks haven't been the Bucks since getting Dame.

Flame out in the first round before Dame, flame out in the first round with Dame. Seems like the same old Bucks to me.

I’m assuming we aren’t making the ECF. Obviously he stays if we made the ECF.

We’re going to be lucky to make it out of round one. Can see our usual injury problem happen again.

And then the Bucks will be under "Giannis watch" again. Will he resign with the Bucks for a rebuild?

Just like the Packers got rid of a Super Bowl coach in Mike McCarthy and two super Bowl qbs in Favre and Rodgers. And just like in Bud's case, they were all the right decision.

The Bucks failing to play with consistent effort once again following what appeared to be a breakthrough streak culminating with winning the cup has me thinking a bigger move could end up happening.

It’s a hot market for centers who can defend much less shoot. And BroLo’s sizable (but short term) contract gives us more flexibility for who we could bring back under the 2nd apron vs Bobby.

Of course it all depends on what we can bring back. The Lakers are who first jogged my thinking here.

At some point we (the team) have to let go of good feelings from the championship and make the right deals. We did it with Jrue. We can do it with Brook and/or Bobby and/or anyone else sans Giannis. I love Brook, I love Bobby, I love Pat, I love all our guys. And I look forward to a championship reunion in a few years. But if the right deal is there it has to be made. And for all we know Horst has been actively shopping guys. But it takes 2 to make a deal and if the right deal isn't on the table I'd rather not make a move. Making a panic move is worse than making none.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Honestly not really like the Packers who after their super bowl made it pretty clear to Rodgers that they weren't going to appease him and constantly made moves that were focused on life after him. Right or wrong the Bucks are currently doing all they can to appease Giannis and if this mythical divide between him and Dame is as big as one is to believe, he'll be gone pretty damn quick. Seemed pretty happy together in Vegas but who knows.

The Bucks are just trying to win. Bud was getting fired whether Giannis wanted him gone or not. There was no way any sane GM wasn't bailing on Jrue too. It's just your forced perspective that Giannis was the only driving force behind those moves. Yes, Giannis was involved in hiring Bud's replacement, but that's it.

The “Dame is a malcontent” stuff is legitimately hilarious. At some point, some of this stuff has to fall on Giannis too. Dude is leading the league in scoring while the offense continues to look like a train wreck more often than not.

I’ll give Doc credit for fixing the defense, but it’s seemingly come at the expense of any sort of cohesion or system on offense. Multiple times last game where it was basically just Dame having to pound the air out of the ball because of the complete lack of screens, cutting, simple DHO’s, etc. For all this crap about about how he’s been underwhelming, he’s still arguably the best pick & roll initiator in basketball this season (1.10 PPP). We’re not optimizing the offensive talent we have at all.

The dude who had his brother on the bench as a mascot for years wasn't a part of making moves for the team, got it. We traded for Dame and Giannis signed his extension right after purely by coincidence right? But also this guy that doesn't create decisions is supposedly calling out a guy which means he's going to be traded? Did I get that right?

I never said he was being traded because Giannis wanted him gone, I'm saying he'll be traded to make the team better.

I agree. All the complaints about Dame against the Nets and not one about Giannis going 3 of 10 from the free throw line in a 3 point loss or Giannis flubbing a dunk and going too hard off the rim in crunch time when those points were vital. It's OK to admit that sometimes Giannis makes plays that cost the team games. Doesn't mean you hate Giannis.

i just... it's absolutely comical to be doing all this a very small handful of games after we just beat OKC to win the NBA cup. do you people not understand how Dame operates yet? He's plenty capable of driving around ball pressure but he's not burning up that juice in a regular season game against Brooklyn. We were very clearly spent after that Vegas run and are now getting back into the swing of things. We still have the same problems before we beat OKC but you guys are inventing new ones.

Giannis missed a bunny layup to take the lead with what 10 seconds left or so? Which led to us needing a 3 to tie it. Haven’t seen a single person mention that. Just Dame bashing for not being clutch like Dame Time isn’t a real thing or something? Such a weird narrative.. I love Giannis just like the next Bucks fan but acting like he’s above criticism is a bad take. He deserves to be held accountable to the highest standard possible. He missed 2 bunnies in crunch time and is still a **** FT shooter after 11yrs in the league. Don’t be scared to talk about it.
RIP Kobe Forever. GOAT 8-24. Long Live Giannis
