Game 34: Wolves vs Pistons 6:00 PM CT

I sense an Anthony Edwards new year surge. Its time. This will be a start of a huge winning streak for the Wolves. Positivity from now on. Wolves back!

“Michael Scotto: The Minnesota Timberwolves guard Rob Dillingham suffered a Grade 2 right lateral ankle sprain. His return to play timeline is 1-2 weeks. He will be re-evaluated in one week, team says. 16 hours ago – via Twitter MikeAScotto”

I hope Ant takes this game seriously, because this Pistons team is not last year’s team. Vegas hasn’t yet, and the Wolves are a 7.5 favorite. Don’t tell Ant.

MIN is 17-16, and DET is 16-18 (edit, thanks w4l!). They are playing at home, and have won 5 of their last 6, which includes three in a row on the road vs the West (PHX, LAL, SAC) and they beat ORL as well.

I know they aren’t OKC or BOS, but the team needs to bring out their OKC/BOS effort, and avoid that one horrible quarter that’s been plaguing them lately.

Conley is not deserving of a starting role. Really hope Finch sees this

Gobert can't dribble it once and dunk it? What is going on? He can't execute a single post move after all the experience in the league.

There aren't enough adjectives in the dictionary to describe how awful Rudy Gobert is offensively and how incredibly stupid it is to let him touch the ball this many times in the first 6 minutes.

We need to get Rudy some lobs. Thes Conley and Gobert deals are looking really bad right now. Why a lot of tea,s don't invest in older players, things can change quick.

This franchise is cooked.
When the ownership situation gets decided I hope they clean house from top to bottom both coaching staff and front office.

In the other thread, when I showed you the data on how good Gobert has been historically on lobs, you complained about the lack of scale. And when the team scales up this game, you complain about too many passing it to him too much?

At that stage we lose this one by 20 and FO finally realise they are a lot to change. Rudy mike are shadow of what they were last year , ANT is struggling, Jaden too….good trade TC! This team has completely lost his identity.

unfortunately yes

the thing with Gobert is that he is dependent on the guard play to set him up

I guess the Wolves are hoping Rob can step up at some point, NAW and DDV aren't those type of playmakers to help Rudy

there just isn't anyway for Rudy to be worth his contract unless the guard play improves dramatically

Return to Minnesota Timberwolves
