Kessler is a mobile shot blocker next to KAT for an easy 15 minutes, a lob threat too - we haven’t had that so far this year and Mitch has become heavier.

Kessler is awful. He can't guard on switches or the perimeter and has zero offensive game. KAT cooked him and the Knicks kept targeting him. He won't change anything here.

I am with you on sexton though. He would be a great 6th man for us

I’d start him tbh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Who are you starting him over????!!

I’m only afraid Mitch might not be in shape, that’s all. Between Kessler and Precious, we could be set up fairly well.

I'd pass. Kessler isn't really worth the very expensive price tag. You'd have to give up Deuce,Kolek and a bunch of picks at very minimum.

Does Brunson for Sexton/Kessler work under the CBA? Asking for GreenArrow.

Knicks don't have the pick assets for either Kessler or sexton, let alone both.

True. Ainge always overvalued his players.

Hart should not start by any means… with him starting our bench suffers more this season and the maniac Tom plays the bench even less…

McBride, Sexton, Butler, Grant or DeRozan to start

Brunson needs to chill and let Bridges and Towns get more involved in the build up plays not just shots they take… we cant afford one player holding the ball and 4 others standing like on traffic lights

They made a trade last season, and it did nothing, we were 30th in the league for bench minutes post trade deadline.

I think neither Sexton nor Kessler are players they want to keep paying moving forward. Dadiet and Kolek might be players they value, however. Robinson is cost-controlled and on a decreasing contact. Utah is a rebuilding team. You may have to add picks, but this trade of Robinson, Payne, Kolek and Dadiet plus a pick or two already saves Utah 7 million in salary next season before Kessler’s extension. If Kessler’s new deal is only 15 million per - and it will likely be more - this trade saves Utah 20-22 million in salary next year while still giving them a decent starting center next to Markkanen in Robinson as well as Dadiet, Kolek and draft compensation to build with.

I do not think that’s very bad.

I’d absolutely take Sexton on this team as a sixth man if we could. I respect the offense and it’s not as gross as having Clarkson rumors.

That being said, I’m not sure he’d have a reputation for two way play and hustle if he didn’t have this cool hairstyle and hadn’t slapped the floor a few times in college

Watch him play, he’s intense.
