Basically the same Jimmy to Houston trade but the Lakers are included to give Miami a FRP and Rui for Dillion Brooks.

This feels like LA is paying the price for Houston. I don't see Brooks as worth that pick.

What? You want to give up Rui, Hayes, JHS, and a first round pick for Dillon Brooks? I don’t get it.

I'll be honest, I think I'd need a FRP to take Dillon Brooks on my team.

Re: MIA/HOU/LAL
I think I do it if Steven Adams is also coming back to the Lakers
But that would necessitate Gabe Vincent probably going back to Miami.
Sure, Brooks is an absolute douche nozzle, but he'd be our physical POA defender douche nozzle

Brooks Is a Villain for most Laker fans, we can't really stand him - def not going to use a FRP for him.

Hayes and JHS are throw ins with zero value. The trade is Rui for Brooks and the Lakers would have to part with some value to make that happen. Brooks is a much better player than Rui.

Re: MIA/HOU/LAL
Personally, I love Brooks on the Rockets. He is instilling a bulldog mentality by example. When you put him and Eason on the court together, especially with one of Amen/Jabari, it gets hard the other teams to score or get rebounds.
I would love Butler for the playoffs but losing Brooks might hurt more than Butler could help.
Houston has several team options that can go like: Tate, JeffGreen, Landale, Holiday. At this point, I would be tempted to trade Vleet way before I dealt Brooks (at over 38 percent is our best three point shooter right now).
