Heat and Bulls

Post#1 » by bgrep14 » Sat Jan 4, 2025 10:52 am

Bulls: Lavine, Dosunmu, and Buzelis

Heat: Butler, Love, and Richardson

Bulls get some star power to lead their team

Heat get some young pieces to recoup value on Butler

Yeah nah we're fine thanks.

Miami isn't getting any value for the s***-show they've created with Butler.

Value? We're taking one of the single worst contracts in the league! This is an easy pass for Miami. Nothing you're giving justifies is taking that albatross.

An efficient 20+ppg scorer that is younger, doesn't demand high usage to be effective and isn't a diva? Yep having a 50 million dollar dude told to stay home is better.

Thankfully, that's not the choice. LOL!

You go ahead and keep LaVine.

And good luck getting anything useful for Butler.

Thanks! We'll do fine, I'm sure!

Matas included. That’s not a good idea for Chicago.

Building a LaVine for Butler three team deal seems possible and maybe interesting though.

LaVine is negative value. I don't see how that works.

You pay some to turn LaVine into a shorter contract and then pay Miami a little. It’s pretty straight forward.

Keep Vuc, Matas, Patrick, Ball, Coby, Ayo. It’s not good enough to justify doing it IMO unless you’re very high on Coby.

Good luck finding someone to take him and return something palatable enough for Miami. Having lLaVine involved makes this so much more complicated.

Chicago really shouldn’t be trading for him. They need a true rebuild.

But I’d look at NOP. Murray/LaVine friend pairing. Ingram to Miami. Fix the salaries however. Pay NOP whatever

Seems possible.

It seems like it would cost them too much imo but hey, if they can pull it off I'm down for Ingram

Why on Earth would the Bulls do this? Why?

The explanation from OP has to be a lot better than what they posted to justify this.

They had Butler once. They don't want him again.
