“Per Keith Smith, Dennis Smith Jr. hasn't played for the Herd because he didn't land where he initially wanted to end up. Rumors were floating that Smith wanted to join San Antonio's affiliate when he entered the G-League pool, so this does track. After plenty of initial hype surrounding the Herd acquiring the guard, it appears it may be all for nothing.”

Jrue, Butler, Giannis would be unstoppable
In a league where teams win games based on maximizing their 3-point variance?

That's a bad offensive team.
But they would win any 3 person nba fight
No chance. Butler is a pitbull and Giannis is strong but Giannis and Jrue are nice guys.

Really? I got a feeling Giannis knows some violence, and I hope I'm wrong.

I can't believe this standoff hasn't ended in a simple G League trade. The Herd could use the help in any form, they're awful even with numerous Bucks playing on their team.
It's kind of hilarious that Horst can't even draft an NBA team good enough to win in the G League.

That extra 15% hinges on, at worst, a Game 7 ECFpaulpressey25 wrote:ShootingtheJ wrote:

I’d say 10% chance Dame dealt at the deadline. 75% in the offseason.

People used to reject trade ideas because you don’t want to make Giannis mad by trading his friends.
Maybe it’s time to break up that complacency.

Thank you for the reminder - ok replace Jrue and I could be swayed… Giannis is a beast. He would be hard to take down.

Bucks erredicate Damian Lillard's uncaring attitude while getting a true PG, a quick combo guard, a flamethrower combo forward, and a big defensive specialist. White and Johnson have flat and shrinking contracts. Reaves is awesome when allowed to play PG. He can't guard PGs, but we have others for that, and he's actually active as a help defender, unlike Dame.
Lopez, Vanderbilt
Giannis, Johnson
Middleton, Johnson
Reaves, White, Wright
White, Green, Ajax
Death lineup: Giannis, Johnson, Middleton, Reaves, White
Forget Jimmy, this is the way.

64M tied up in 3 guys who are not even league average is killing this team. That's all on Horst. Of the 3 Lopez is the only one that's moveable because he's expiring...

If people think Dame is bad, boy, would this make us miss him.

Khris Middleton is dog water. Can we trade him for John Blackwell?
Khris Middleton - Beating up on Trash Can Teams since 1943. Invisible Man status otherwise.

The Jimmy deal (if we have to) is:
MKE: Jimmy
MIA: Lopez, Hardaway, MKE '31 1st
DET: Middleton
MKE: Jimmy
MIA: Lopez, Hardaway, MKE '31 1st
DET: Middleton

Does Brook make sense for Miami though with Bam? They don’t seem too keen on a full blow up yet.

They just don't want bad money and Brook is expiring, they would likely flip Brook to the highest bidder.

Re: Bucks News, Trade Ideas, Transactions
Why would we also give up Midds and the 31 first for a Jimmy rental? We’re not seriously going to extend him on big money?
I’m not trying to overly nitpick but I don’t look at our current team and think swapping Midds for Jimmy is going to come close to making this team relevant.

Re: Bucks News, Trade Ideas, Transactions
I get a kick out of how the same people who try to diminish the value of Jrue Holiday are the same people who scoff at the idea of trading for Jimmy Butler.
Jrue Holiday or Jimmy Butler have played in 4 of the last 5 NBA Finals. Almost 5 for 5 with the Heat losing game 7 of the ECF in 2002.
And Jrue Holiday & Jimmy Butler were a very large reason WHY those teams were in the NBA Finals.
