He can shoot, he's only taken 1, but we know he can shoot.

He does need to learn,
but every video you get of him, for him, vs nba talent, can be used as a good learning tool, for when he plays against G-leauge competition.

And playing with that Raptors lineup would be less chaotic than playing the 905 lineups.

It's just way too early for him to he in the NBA. It's obvious watching him. No need at all to rush an 18 year old.

Agreed. Playing against competition way above your skill level is not necessarily going to help you develop. It just as easy could crush you mentally.

I really hope Chomche pans out, but some posters are getting waaaaay to ahead of themselves here. The average 57th pick does not even become a rotation piece, and we have people slotting him in as a long term starter?
What an absolute failure and disaster this franchise is, ran by one of the most incompetent front offices in the league.

Battle & Chomche just kept working, doing what they do.

Bobby was there, as was Darko. Davion, Shead, Fernando & Walter were also there watching.

He has a tendency to slump his shoulders when he makes a mistake. On one hand, it probably shows that he cares a lot but he also needs to learn to channel his frustrations better and move on to the next play.

He actually flashed a couple nice drives and euro step finishes. Some of the stuff you see him do sometimes really pops but it's nowhere near consistent or reliable. The first step is really good for someone his sized and you see some glimpses of what might be possible but he needs a lot of reps to get comfortable out there. He might be an older rookie but he's extremely raw still.

I think Mogbo has had to take on a lot more than the typical rookie. He's basically had to learn 3 different positions. He was developing as a jumbo wing in the preseason and early on in the year and then had to play mostly as a small ball 5 with all the injuries and the minutes available were at the 5. Now, it looks like he's back to being used as a 3/4 again in the 905.

I mean on the bench mostly. I was sitting right behind them.

Everyone else on the bench was watching the game intently. Cheering teammates after good plays.

Mogbo wasn't even watching the game. Just staring off into space for long stretches, looking totally disinterested. Dude almost looked depressed at times.

You know who Mogbo could really learn from on the 905? Eugene Omoruyi. They are similar height & that guy is a bucket getter from within 10 feet of the rim.
