Very proud of the team against OKC for the first 3 quarters, the Thunder seemed a little exasperated and lost. But 4th q came around, they sensed our tired legs if they just kept pushing good things would happen and they did. Once a crack was found in the dam, a defensive breakdown occurred like leaving Wiggins open for a 3 in transition and then more defensive breakdowns for the next few possessions in a row. They're all manifestation of scattered focus from tired legs/ shot fatigue.

ive watched all our games and ive noticed in many of those loses we started giving up open threes...Again, you cant expect players to play great offense and defense for 4 full quarters when its only 6 guys

OG, Josh, and KAT look like they're about keel over at any moment by the 4th and yet people are shocked when they're a step slow on their rotations and getting to their spots on defense.

The reality is -every single human on this planet is delusional about something. I just hope that Leon isn't as delusional about the short rotation as Thibs is...If we can solve this issue- I have no doubt in my mind that we can beat anyone based on what I've seen.
This is our Kryptonite.

In our losses the 4th quarter DRTG is 135.6  It's not hard to figure out what's happening here, but some of you are still in denial about it. Most of our losses are hard fought games 1-3 where we implode in the 4th and get slumped.

He's the white Doc Rivers, people like Doc and keep giving him more chances, people like Tom and just can't see that we may need a younger coach that thinks outside the box to take the next level. It's the same thing, you'd think he's won us multiple titles the way people talk about him.

The stats you show people are the most telling thing, they can ignore them all they want but this is a tired team.

First 3 quarters opponent 3-point shooting
36.3%

4th quarter
39.4%

4th quarter in losses
49.5%

 That's a higher percentage from three against us in losses than guys get at the rim against rim protectors.

KAT does need to sit. Orlando has a pretty bad injury situation and will be on a back to back, so we can win without him. We’ll see if Paolo plays tomorrow.

At the end of the day it’s the coaches responsibility to find ways to make the roster work.

Were last in the league in bench minutes per game, last in the league in bench points per game, yet were 20th in bench FG%, 3rd in bench 3P%, and 6th in bench +/-

It’s almost like our bench isn’t exactly the garbage pile people keep saying it is. It’s always been a lack of minutes and trust situation.

Thibs needs to figure out staggered lineups, how to work guys into the offense and defense, make some plays. It’s all on him.

You’re probably right, but if Orlando has the same injury report as today, it’ll be an opportunity for some rest.

What difference does it make? Just another body to warm a seat on the bench.

He's playing a career high in minutes and has been playing 41mpg since December 1st. Expecting a guy to play high level defense night in and night out while playing that much and scoring 20ppg in this era is crazy.

That might hold some weight if he wasnt sucking from the very beginning. But do what you guys do.
There's something about an underdog that really inspires the unexceptional.

What different look? Our bench doesn't do anything better or differentnthan our starters. And that is by design sadly. They are just meant to hold the fort forna few minutes.

Aren't there some free agents out there who Thibs might trust. Gallinari, Pat Bev, Robert Covington, etc.?

NiceLikeChrist wrote:Don’t forget Jericho sims had thibs golden seal earlier. Man was pointing at defensive stats and rim FG% when questioned why he’s playing over Huk

Then he actually showed us something during a few stretches with his rebounding and defense. Now he’s DNP every game. Thibs just doesn’t make any sense even in his own head and once he has more than 8 players to play his brain turns to mush

I saw right through it.

I think Thibs complimenting Sims was a political move to appease the agent for Sims. They're not going to publicly make him look bad with Sims being in a contract year. Thibs knows that Sims isn't that good.

Huk could wait to play next year. As long as Sims is on the roster, they're not gonna let Huk make Sims look expendable.
