We are cooked bro.

They have no choice but to keep bringing in starters. We suck bro

The fix is simple - put support players in the starting 5, put more ball dominant guys on the bench.

Bring Hart in as a 6th man. Start Sims. Now you have 4 guys off the bench.

Went back to look at the Cavs game, and it had the same thing happen.

1st quarter - 91.7 DRTG
2nd quarter - 95.8 DRTG
3rd quarter - 120.8 DRTG
4th quarter - 138.5 DRTG

Almost every loss the defense just collapses in the 4th quarter, we have a top 10 defense in the first 3 quarters of the game. You can literally track our drop off, and it's really something to see it in numbers when I just felt like our defense is awful in the 4th.

1st quarter - 11th DRTG
2nd quarter - 9th DRTG
3rd quarter - 7th DRTG
4th quarter - 27th DRTG

The Magic and Thunders defense has no such droppoff, they are 1 and 2 in the league in 4th quarters. I'll go through the numbers a little more, someone blamed blowouts for the drop off and that's not it because the Thunder maintain, and the Cavs go from 9th on the season to 11th in the 4th.

Remember last year when Hartenstein & Deuce (I'm sure there's one more player I'm forgetting) weren't seeing minutes until the injuries piled up.

Kolek has impressed me with the few times I've seen him on the floor. He only gets 2 minutes? Play the rest of the bench, Thibs!

Donte was playing backup to grimes and not considered for more than 15 mins a game til grimes got hurt and thibs was forced to open his eyes

That's insane how I forgot about Donte. I knew there was someone I was missing.

What different look? Our bench doesn't do anything better or differentnthan our starters. And that is by design sadly. They are just meant to hold the fort forna few minutes.

A full second unit, I suppose. I know it’s not a revolutionary idea. Just saying it would do more than just rest the starters.
I dunno.

And all of these are the exact reasons why we need a new coach eventually.

What difference does it make? Just another body to warm a seat on the bench.

I just want to know the point of him being on the roster.

nope. people who see the big picture have been calling for thibs head even after W's. what has thibs done to convince the thibs crowd that he can lead this team, or any team, to a chip?

thibs crowd is full of people with PTSD from coaches like Isaiah Thomas and fitzdale. they shown insane loyalty to the guy who raised our floor to a respectable level but did nothing for or ceiling. We have a great roster right now, we don't have a great coach. Something has to give.

Hammies linger too b/c you can recover but one wrong step and it’s back.

Hammy? He’ll be out for a couple of weeks.
