Defending our budget ownership and coaches with the output for their combined efforts on full tragic display every night seems like a worse idea, but go on.

If you need a accounting breakdown conclude that this coaching staff is incredibly cheaply formed and unqualified, that’s just poor deduction and on you

You legit have no idea how much anyone is making. It's just a clown take to attack them for something you have no idea about.

I'm not defending them, and if you want to criticize them for their performance, something you actually have evidence for, then go for it.

But saying "this is what a low budget gets you" when you have literally no idea what the budget is is just dumb.

Like I said, if you need an accounting document to figure out that Luke Walton with his resume asks for a higher wage than Lamar Skeeter or that a staff with 3 ex head coaches on it is more expensive than the nobodies on ours, that’s on you lol. I don’t really care what someone who can’t handle critically thinking through something so obvious thinks is dumb. Enjoy the Dollar General franchise pushing Dollar General product

The team should have hired Redick. A few on here wanted him (including me) and it was the right call. Lee can get his guys to play hard, but has no idea what offense to run for the players he has.

KembaWalker is right. There's no point following this team until they prove that they can have above the bare minimum NBA budget when it comes to infrastructure and staff. No, we don't know exactly what they are paid, but I think everyone here can feel in your soul that this is a very, very cheaply run team and nothing has been proven differently yet to warrant giving the new ownership a pass. They are throwing away this season, so there's no point in watching. And if we don't get a top 2 pick in the draft, we might as well start the 2026 draft thread before the 2025 draft even takes place, that's how hopeless this team is.

Have to agree with Swedd still, it's down to the roster at the end of the day. Doesn't take an Auerbach to see putting shooting, defense, and veteran savvy around a reliable #1 option could get you wins.

If Redick + Brooks + McMillan was ever on the table, that would have been crazy. Very hard to imagine them both outbidding the Lakers and supplying Redick with a staff like that to support him learning on the job. We’re happy with taking the leftovers. We would have stuck Redick with an Appalachian State tier staff and he would have become a giant meme anyway

Watched this one a few days ago, if we had anyone who could dribble the ball over half court we win easily. Detroit did about 15 bone headed things, their coach was so mad and frustrated we should have walked to a win...

Bad sign when your best option to get the ball over half court and initiate any offense is Miles Bridges over Vasa/KJ.

This game gave major Summer League vibes.
