This is a tough matchup for Detroit. Minnesota is one of the best tackling teams in the league. Completely different situation vs last week

Darnold has got to bring those balls Lower. Yes, Jefferson .might have made 1 catch. But overall, Darnolds going back to the Jets Darnold with his high pitches . This Defense is playing lights out

Darnold missed balls the 1st coupla series. This last 1, hes on point, but to Detroits credit, nobody was open, and the Vikings OLine can't punch it in

If they lose, and most likely will, this game is 100% on Darnold. What a dreadful performance. He cost them the game. The wide open JJ on that second drive is going to kill them. The defense is playing great but you can't ask them to hold up like this.

True, all on Darnold. But now looking at Schematics. I've seen this tactic deployed before. It's the Mcveigh tactic 1st used by bellichek against the Rams. Used again by the Bengals vs the Rams in the Superbowl. Stymied the offense twice in Superbowls.
No Big Plays. All DBs and safeties play Deep. Only short passes are open. When you get in the red zone, flood the zones with Defenders. Get physical with receivers at the Line of Scrimmage. And completely stuff the run game
