makes sense for you, but I always found it dumb these games are so popular with fans. like if I want to go to Ireland, I'm going to go to the cliffs and not watch bad football. if I'm going to watch a packer game, I'm watching it at lambueau not some neutral field.

(that said, I'll be looking to see if lines up with my work trip to Ireland :) )

It gave me an excuse to go to London two years ago. I had a great time but probably enjoyed all the other things I did more than the Packers. Just like that time, I’ll be checking it out and seeing if traveling to Ireland makes sense for me

Is the packers’ medical staff still really conservative like they were for like thirty years, or have they sorta changed? Pepper Burruss left in 2019, but Dr Mackenzie still there. Just surprising, given GB conservative history, that Jaire and Watson both suited up when they weren’t 100% and ended up with worse injuries. Our chronic long injury lists have gotten better over the last couple years though, anyway idk who’s in charge of what (aside from just luck being in charge of injuries) but just struck me as odd.

They were certainly conservative in years past but this year they seem to have switched. And it sucks, there was absolutely no reason to push Watson to play yesterday and now we've hurt our offense significantly for the playoffs and for next year. The more I sit on it the more annoyed I am about the Packers playing their starters yesterday. The risk was just nowhere near worth the reward and we've significantly hurt ourselves by doing that

Just such an unnecessary & frustrating injury

I get it's a non contact injury that can happen at anytime but it's legitimately crazy that he played yesterday

MLF's explanation implying that he played in large part only because Doubs was sick was also insane. Just call up a practice squad guy if you need an extra body.

Or just run more 2 TE sets. We have 2 good ones, use them.

****, he's probably gonna miss a chunk of 2025 as well.

It's an injury that can happen any time, but I didn't see the point in risking him, either. Especially on a slick surface in extra cold weather.

Lafleur made an absurdly idiotic decision to play him on concrete yesterday.

Yeah, stupid decision to have him out there in the first place. MLF should've sat him, but the way they handled the Jaire situation was weird as **** too so I'm wondering at what point does the medical staff start getting some heat here.

It was the opposite knee from the one he injured a couple weeks ago and it seems like a pretty tame movement. I agree, there was really no point in playing him, but maybe they weren't worried about a bone bruise causing lingering issues.

Yeah i chalk this one up to random bad luck.

With the timing there's a decent chance he never plays for the pack again.

Unless a deep threat falls into the laps of the Packers come draft time, is there any options via trade or FA that could be a stop gap for next year? Maybe Miami will hand us Tyreek on a silver platter and we can squeeze a year out of his ability.

Watson isn’t a #1 but his speed is going to be very missed for opening up space for the rest of the offense.

Hill has massive cap hits in 25 and 26 and is now on the wrong side of 30. Tough to tell how much of his regression this year was Tua being hurt or Hill losing a step.

Would rather make a play for Higgins or get a cheaper guy like Hollywood if he looks good through KC's playoff run.
