Dame’s effort level, desperation level to try and win has been absolutely nothing by comparison. That is a huge problem compounded of course by his inability to make shots game after game with any degree of shooting accuracy.

Khris’ case is different from that of Dame. He has been trying hard to make shots, create openings for himself and trying to make the passes thar he used to make with ease in the past. But he is failing in all these. That has made him play with desperation in some games which has led to turnovers.

Giannis is trying over hard trying to compensate for the failures offensively of both Khris and Dame.
But this is not working enough to win against most teams.

That is the essence of our offense problems

Defense problems are many but that is a separate discussion.

giannis has two ways he plays hard.

one of those ways is head down trying to score kind of selfishly. he wears himself out cannonballing a set defense and doesnt do much else well when hes in that gear. our team is frustrating to watch and loses alot. we can play down to anybody when he plays that way.

the other way is he tries to do everything besides score every time he has the ball. that includes passing early and letting other guys find him. defense is better. be patient and letting sets develop. get other guys going early or when the ball stops moving becomes the leader hes supposed to be in that regard with the usage he controls. those are the games he puts up monster numbers across the sheet and the scoring comes easy eventually. we won a title when he plays that way.

giannis needs to play the 2nd way at all times whether his teammates are hitting shots or not.

well this post pregame feels a bit prophetic for tonight

he needs to embrace his inner Magic Johnson and dominate as a facilitator.

1000 splashes for Wilt is a fantastic achievement.

Especially with the way he started his career. I don't think he even attempted a three point shot until like his fifth year in the league.

Considering the first 8 years of his career he shot 9.7%!

3 for 31.

Yeah, no.
It would be nice if the second were the case but we've seen our team, time and time again, miss wide open shots and bunnies. It is not sustainable.

I must admit. I do miss watching Thanasis in these blowout games.

For those not watching the Toronto broadcast, that Liam Robbins guy is the nephew of the Toronto commentator. The normal one, not the one that sounds like drunk Dick Vitale.

It is more sustainable them him playing selfish 1 on 3 or 4 that got us eliminated from the playoffs every year he wasn't hurt.
