He could surprise us. There are several teams in the West that are crashing and burning right now.... that could open up opportunities for us.

The detroit pick has improved as an asset so thats good. Tyler has to have improved his value as well...Looking forward to seeing what happens...

Detroit Pick is gone:

Knicks receive: Karl-Anthony Towns
Timberwolves receive: Julius Randle, Donte DiVincenzo, Keita Bates-Diop, 2025 first-round pick (via Knicks via Pistons)

I’m here at the Mavs game, corporate lounge I would never pay myself to see them.

This was fun to see in person though.

And would love to see the Mavs lose.

Jason Kidd understands it's a long season. You gotta see what you have on the end of the bench. What does he know?

He'd be glued to the bench and the Thibs groupies would be saying he sucks.

Yeah good thing the Suns have Dunn and a coach who plays a deep bench. I so wish we were 16-18 and losing by 13 to the Hornets right now

Luka is out multiple weeks with a strained calf, can’t even walk and using a motor scooter to get around while looking like he’s gained weight and as far as ever.

Kyrie is our multiple weeks with a bulging disc in his back.

All part of Jason Kidds master plan to see what he has at the end of the bench

You don't even need to address them by name and the Thibs groupies will make an appearance with their capes on

Luka was 3rd in MPG last season, nice job shooting yourself in the foot. Maybe Kidd should have used his bench more last season, the bill almost always comes due on too many minutes.

At least Kidd has made it to the finals, Thibs kills his players for 2nd round outs.

So, anyway. Thibs would shorten his rotation without Luka/Kyrie. We have seen it happen!

This man said Luka has a strained calf because of his minutes from last season

Not sure this is the right topic for my question, but how do you guys like KAT’s defense so far? I always thought the national media exaggerated how bad he’s on defense. In his last two seasons as a Timberwolf, he was definitely above average and we’re greatly missing his size. Not to mention his offense, but we all know he’s great on that side.

He has his moments. He gets a lot of fouls. He isn't as bad as was advertised. He's not soft either. Huge fan of his all around. That trade was amazing for us.

Damn, jumping out the window for Thibs, he literally has calf strain listed on his injury report in October 2023, then again in October 2024. It's been a problem for a year, but in your weird reality the human body carries no injuries between seasons, everyone's body just resets after June

You just killed yourself in your own argument. So he had a calf strain, still was 3rd in MPG, still took his team to the Finals and still played in the Olympics

Yo this is too easy when the guy just does this to himself. No amount of Thibs jokes is getting you any further in the actual debate that you keep trapping yourself in

This also means KATs injury is because of his injuries from last year under a different coach
