Jrue is on the trading block?

That's news, probably to the Celtics too.

OTOH, it doesn't sound like the ownership, either the current one or the future owners, would want to carry a huge payroll there.

But are the Lakers?

Depending on the offer, couldn’t he be?

The last question is the interesting one.

Rob, call Riley and get us Butler. It’s win now mode.

If we can get Butler without giving up AD and Reaves then we better do it. If we could also keep Max and Dalton it would even be better.

Actually, yeah Butler will want promises of high pay going forward. He’s 35. Jeannie has the dough.

I’d guess he goes to the Suns for Beal.

Riley would demand either Knecht or Max plus DFS and filler along with a unprotected frp. For the great Jimmy, it would be worth it because the C's fears him.

Riley would laugh and hang up the phone if PHX offers him Beal with his no trade clause contract to prevent Riley from ridding him Lol

Heard of three and four team deals? :D A player at Butler’s price point won’t go straight up. It’ll create bigger ripples.

I think we’re in a good spot to get something from it even if it’s not Butler who lands here. GSW and Dallas are in good position, too. And the Kings. Significant Pieces will move. Capitalize, Rob!

If we can get in on the trade’s surrounding moving pieces while keeping Reaves, Max and Knecht, do it. Riley would want Gabe and Reddish and probably even would take a risk on Vando, players like Kuminga and Lively and Fox and Monk etc are surely being discussed. If we could somehow get Lively…

Reaves, Max, Knecht stay.

Cannot keep all 3....Riley would want one of those along with DFS for the relentless "Playoff" J****!

If it's for Jimmy I'd prefer to keep Dalton over Max. Heat can keep Gabe too.

Same. Max is just a role player who spend too much time in the G league. Knecht has already shown stardom in his future.

DFS, Max, Gabe and a pick should be able to get us someone who can beat the C's.

I think in the future Dalton's offense is more valuable than Max's defense. But I hope both of them could be a great two way player in the near future and help the Lakers.

Good info, and Lebron deserves his NO TRADE clause. NOT Beal since he was getting his super max extension with a season left and his injury history at the time. Like he wouldn't sign the dotted line without that clause Lol

Jason Potatum and his pack are probably not going all the way this year. Their problem seems deeper than just a mid season lull to my eyes. Please don’t rebut here if a Celtics fan.

Cavs, Bucks, NYK, Pacers can all take out the Kelts in seven games. Team is being sold and stuff…
