Ah Topic with a jumper is a nice comp.

Airious Bailey and Rutgers take on Wisconsin at 7pm.

My top 4 is probably:

Kasparas - May not be a two way player or the best scoring prospect in this draft, but a high IQ guy with court vision, some craftiness and who can shoot and hit step backs. I really want a player like that on this team.

Cooper - I'd hope for somewhere in between Cade and Scottie level on offense with elite defense

Dylan - he's alright

Ace - Am I looking at this wrong, or did Ace just go 3-16? LOOOL. It's why I think a 6'10 GTJr is a better comparison than MPJ. Current MPJ feels like much more of an off-ball player whereas Ace is more of a chucker. Whether Ace stays in my top 4 or drops way lower depends on his growth during the season. He needs to find a consistent niche where he can continuously provide efficient volume scoring. Dropping a few games doesn't matter as long as he's doing it for most of the games. If he ends the season with a low BPM, I'm out.

In the next line of players: Edgecombe, CMB, Labaron, Tre, Fears - Tre is the only good perimeter shooter, but he has other weaknesses

Sorber and Queen should end up as solid players, but if you look around the league, you need to be pretty special to be a top tier scorer as a C (Embiid, Wemby, Jokic, Anthony Davis) and I don't think they can reach that level. To which I would look for a defensive stud at C (i.e. DPOY potential), if they can't be that, I'd rather go for wings/guards first.

Demin, Traore, Essengue, Knueppel, McNeeley, Boogie Fland, Newell are currently out of my top 10 for various reasons

Ace with a stinker against Wisconsin. 9/7/1/1/1 on 3/16 shooting from the field, 1/5 from 3 and 2/6 from the line. Rough outing for the young man.

Harper also has a rough game but he's coming back from illness.

Not really a surprise that he has a stinker after a great game. Not sure what is going on with the FT shooting though, that's down to 55% now.

Ace would scare me so much if I was a Gm selecting in the top 4 lol.

His on paper ceiling is so tantalizing but the red flags are very much red.

Is he like a Max Christie? We really don't need any more SGs. Duplicating Jakobe Walter.

Even Agbaji, I'd look to trade for a bigger wing. With his bad FT shooting, I don't know if his 3pt shooting will be sustainable unless he sticks to corner 3's.

I am out on guys who need to wear long sleeve shirts under their jerseys to hide their skinny frames. We need some men on this team.

Top 4 is where we need to be this draft, we need to come out with one of Flagg, Harper, Jokucionis, or Johnson... I'm not sold on Bailey at all.

Unless we get a top 2 pick it really looks like we'll be choosing between Bailey, Jak, Edgecombe, Johnson, Fears in that 3-7 range.

Just watched some Derik Queen highlights... he has a nice touch around the rim and though he looks quite slow footed, he's very crafty in using his size/footwork to get his shots off.

I will add Khaman to this list. Bigs are always in need and the potential is there.

Kasparas Jakucionis is going to be one of those guys who shouldn’t be able to do what he does against NBA athletes. That ZBo, Joker, Luka type of scorer. Ethical buckets.

My current top 10 big board:

1) Cooper Flagg
2) Dylan Harper
3) Derik Queen
4) Kasparas Jakucionis
5) Jeremiah Fears
6) VJ Edgecombe
7) Thomas Sorber
8) Collin Murray-Boyles
9) Egor Demin
10) Boogie Fland

I've been saying since early in the season that I don't see this team finishing higher than 5th worst, and dropping worst case 4 spots from 5 would be to pick 9. So I probably won't be expanding the range of my big board beyond top 10 until I start looking more closely at SRP targets for the Portland pick.

It's the gamble like Steve Nash, shouldn't have succeeded just based on his physical profile. Nash's A/T was just over 1.5.

He's playing loose and fun. Seems like how Caitlin Clark played in her 1st year. During the regular season had a lot of turnovers just trying to see what she could do but in the playoffs tightened things up with an A/T of 2 in those games.

Would have to look at his TO's if they are just off wild passes or is he getting his pocket picked, which would be bad with NBA level defenders. Like RJ Barrett's turnovers seem to be more of the driving and getting stripped leading to fastbreaks the other way.

I would like a late 1st to take Ian Jackson. He's the same age as Jared McCain so sophomore aged, but he's shooting 50% and 40% from 3.

He's the first UNC to score over 23 pts in 4 straight games.

Had he gone to another school like Harper did with Rutgers without a crowded backcourt, he'd be putting up over 20ppg.

I think they need to keep starting PG RJ Davis, SG Ian Jackson and SF Drake Powell. Seth Trimble is doing really well, but Cadeau should for sure come off the bench.

I also need them to let Drake Powell loose
