What problem is that gonna fix

Nobody seems to be progressing along in their defensive play and effort. We don't seem to rely of a hell of a whole lot but individual efforts and scrambling. If there is progress it must be in some unfathomable area that doesn't count to the eyes. I'm getting tired of people looking at offensive production as a measure of anything. If anything it only makes our guys more expensive to resign when you still won't get defense out of them. Right now we have a very soft coach coaching a very soft team. Is developing toughness in the cards with these guys? Our efforts are growing weaker by the passing week, and yet we are told that we are now past the tough part of the schedule. The main core is reunited, and now it looks a lot like selfish 2-3 man play again.

There is no magic coach that will transform the players into gold.

Barrett was an inefficient chucker and IQ was a bench player with Thib. Brown was trash with Indiana. Olynyk has been a poor defender for his entire career and looked awful in the off-season with team Canada. Look at Schroder now, he’s doing his best to sabotage GSW.

If you want toughness, the best bet would be not to play these players. Bench IQ, Gradey, Olynyk. Go back to line-ups used at the beginning of the year with Davion/Shead providing PoA defense for the entire game.

Tighten up the rotation to:
Poeltl/Scottie/RJ/Ochai/Davion - Shead/Mogbo/Boucher

Why? He is the true Tank Commander. No way he gets canned mid-season.

I wasn't actually serious. You can't waive coaches. :)

I made a post on Darko before and I think the earliest he should be let go is next season.

Would love to look at Nassir Little and Jamarion Sharp.

Wouldn't mind bringing back Oshae Brissett too; we could use a SF who can shoot.

He should catch on somewhere. He played solid enough for a backup in what limited minutes they gave him.

He served his purpose to be the back up since Olynyk was out to start the season and Chomche not ready for minutes yet.

Fun looking roster there, couple former Raptors with Khem Birch & Nigel Hayes and some Canadian content with Dyshawn Pierre.

I was also a Skylar Mays truther back in the Flynn draft, happy to see he caught on out there. Might be fun team to watch

I don't think that. The guy wanted defense and Shead/Davion are better PoA defenders.

Why? He gets the job done perfectly (high lottery spot). You can't have the cake and eat it too.

It's funny that he started the season as a total scrub but kept playing. Then he started to play better and this franchise decided to bench him even when Poeltl was out lol.
