Yeah, I'm not convinced Wiggins has positive value even with the box score numbers he's currently putting up the Dubs are 4.1 pp100 better with him off the floor than on this season.

The Cavs need high BBIQ players that are willing to give effort, move, cut, and pass and can shoot consistently and I don't expect them to disrupt team chemistry unless they can get that too.

I might be persuaded o trade LeVert and Okoro (mainly because I think LeVert is going to be too expensive to retain next summer), but you start adding first round picks and Ty Jerome to the package and that's going to be a hard pass.

Jarret Allen isn’t winning you anything. Garland won’t show up in the playoffs. Mobley is a glorified dunk man. Mitchell has some experience but is a liability on defense. To me, the Cavs are a treadmill team.

For the Wolves I'd much rather keep the first and look for options that let the team resign Naz and NAW. Randle not picking up his player option would be much better for the Wolves than this trade, and if he does pick up the option there would be paths to moving him as an expiring in the offseason.

Inclined to do this with Minny (different filler than Anderson). Pretty sure Randle has positive value and could be flipped.

I don't think the Wolves would do that as is, but Anderson isn't just any old filler/salary matching here. Yes he is that, but he would also help fill a need for more playmaking and defnese and his fit with the team and trust with the coaching staff is known.

Duren’s defense sucks and Stewart’s is near elite. Duren also gets in foul trouble frequently. Yes, Duren is a much better lob threat and a better rebounder, but he remains unreliable.

Stewart is essential to this team.

tangent - whats your asking price on Duren?

Don’t think we’re moving him. He’d drive Thibs bananas anyway.

I think there was more possibility of a deal there when you still controlled our pick

Pretty hard pass for cleveland. I’d send Struss, Niang, and 2031 lotto protected 1st or Struss and Okoro for Wiggins.
