From elementary school until 9th grade. All over the courts in various towns we traveled to as teens during the HS years. Then again in a pick up league but, that was short lived. 3&D guard. Couldn't go left to save my life. Why do you ask?

I ask because I think if any poster participated in any of those forms they would agree that fatigue makes sense at this time for our Knicks...The explanation isnt always so complex...I salute some of you for arguing back and forth but some people have their minds made up and even if Brunson told them its fatigue they would argue with him too

It also adds to the risk of injury because your legs are tired and your body can't perform the way it does when rested. It's not rocket science on any level and people are just foolish to believe anything else but, idc anymore. Delusional people who lie and exaggerate things to be right when they are clearly wrong have taken up enough of my time today. I was bored with the day off so, I wasted enough time on these people.

I have also been in construction my entire life and when your are tired you risk injury and poor performance all around just like with anything else you do in life. It's ridiculous to suggest otherwise but, whatever. Thibs sucks.

I imagine everyone has, right???

There’s no way. The people here defending Thibs to the death refusing to acknowledge the exhaustion the players are experiencing while straw manning, villainizing and gaslighting us, clearly have never competed in this sport on any level.

Even some rec league experience would make you understand how performance and decision making on both sides drops with exhaustion.

It's as if the closest they have gotten to playing is in the fantasy league they are in. Anything physical. Not just sports. Anything. You get tired you risk injury and will perform poorly. It's crazy to think otherwise. Carrying a couch down the stairs when your tired can lead to injury or you simply drop the couch and damage the wall etc.

No, but we have competed in different sports where the level of exhaustion you are expected to put your body on is way higher than 39 minutes per game 3 times a week (currently the highest mpg for Hart and Bridges who are never getting injured btw). Even at this age of mine I can do this cardio with all the jumping and shooting on higher pulse level for this amount of time without a problem.

I don't need to have played basketball at the highest level to recognize BS when I see it.

people on this board really want to apply a load management only to experience a Kawhi Leonard, a Joel Embiid or a Chris Paul later in May. Then they will point fingers at single person again because that's what Knicks fans do instead of looking at the bigger picture

Another straw man. Nobody mentioned load management. We all just asked for a normal rotation by modern standards and normal mpg for the starters. Pretty simple.

What is that abnormal about the rotation that we are crying about every single damn L?

https://www.statmuse.com/nba/ask/nba-minutes-per-game-leaders-this-season

Surely we might be first in some statistical categories and what? I don't see any anomaly compared to the rest of the nba. If something is a straw its the annoying damn focus on playing 1 or 2 extra minutes.

Same thing is happening to the Raptors, Pelicans, Hornets and with Memphis last year. Young teams with nobody over 34 minutes a game.

Goddamn Thibs.

This happens in other sports too. Baseball has seen an increase in injuries particularly with young pitchers. I think that it has to do with weightlifting and pushing the human body to perform at such high levels. Yes, the weightlifting improves performance but at a cost.

It’s me
I’m a doctor and an avid Knicks fan, and I can safely say, Thibs is a f***in nightmare in both my profession and fandom.
I can provide articles and research that show direct clinical correlations between minutes played in basketball, and ligaments strain/ tears. Or overuse injuries in baseball etc etc. but in the end it’s what we all can see. Too many minutes and…. Wait for it….
Thibs. Sucks.
